TOPIC: WHAT DID GOD SAID ABOUT YOU? 3: We Are Protected.

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 29:11.
“11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

BIBLE READING:
Psalms 34:18-20.
“18. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
20. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.”
David, before his enthronement and during his reign, enjoyed this particular promises of God, that was why He could write this chapter of the bible. The mind of God is for you to go through every challenges of life without being hurt. His declaration about us is to be safe come what the situation may be. He never promised us a free life from affliction and troubles but His promise is that, “But The Lord Delivers us out of THEM ALL” this is what God is saying about you. That we are exempted from every negative occurrences, we may see them but we will defeat them. No matter who is threatening you, if you know this promises you can declare it day and night.
What qualifies us for this declaration from God? David said, the qualifications for this is, “The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a Broken Heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”
A Broken heart and a contrite spirit is that believer going through situations that can’t be explained, traceable to disappointment. Those who felt all hope is gone despite their belief and services to God. Believers who walk with God and still faces oppositions here and there, this is the word of The Lord to you today, He is watching over you, nothing shall be missing around you in Jesus Mighty Name. That’s what God is saying about you. You shall come out strong and healthy according to His word and power in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Claim and declare this promises today and it shall be yours in Jesus name, Amen.
God Morning and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: WHAT DID GOD SAID ABOUT YOU? 2: The Good Belongs To Us

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 29:11.
“11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

BIBLE READING:
Isaiah 1:19
 19. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:.
When God created the heavens and earth, He gave everything to man for our use. The fruits of all His creation were meant for us as a blessings but sin made it difficult for us to access. Now, He was speaking through His prophet, Prophet Isaiah, and said, we shall eat the fruit of the land. This declaration still stands, the fruit and seed of the land we dwell in is ours. We are not suppose to struggle before getting them, but the reverse has been the case, I decree this morning, whatever may be the reason, this day, they are cursed in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God gave us reasons that may be the cause which is disobedience to His Words, Instructions and leading. He said, “if you are willingly and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land”
Are we willing and obedient to Him? When He talks about running from sins, are we running or playing with sin? To enjoy the best of the land rest on willingly obeying God’s word and Instructions. Let’s be willing, let’s be obedient, then we will enjoy what He said about us. Obedience is the key here.
God Morning and God Bless you.

TOPIC: WHAT DID GOD SAID ABOUT YOU? 1: He Knows About You.

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 29:11.
“11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

BIBLE READING:
Jeremiah 1:4-8.
“4. Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
5. Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”
What you know and believe propels what you do. If you believe what God said, it neutralizes what men says about you. When you differentiate what God said from what men are saying, you are on your way to the top. So, it’s needful to know and understand what God said concerning you before men changes your orientation. First of all, nobody is a mistake before God. The way you were born, given birth to, where you lived and how you lived is not a proof that You’re a misfit, No, it’s because you’re not aware of God’s intentions for your life. I’m here to let you know that, God is aware about your worst situation, before you were given birth to, before that man and woman came together, God was aware. He has a purpose for you, that you don’t know the purpose doesn’t deny his purpose for your life. As He told Jeremiah, He’s telling you the same today,
“5. Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”
.. to be a prophet in your field, in your line of calling. There is what He predestined for you which can never be changed, but you just have to locate that field and start tilling it. To locate this field you need to locate God. Do you really know Him? Search for Him to know His purpose for your life.
God Morning and God Bless you.

TOPIC: LEARNING FROM KING DAVID 7: Go After Your Spoil

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 86:11.
“11. Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 30:16-19.
“16. And when he had brought him down, behold, they were spread abroad upon all the earth, eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out of the land of Judah.
17. And David smote them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, which rode upon camels, and fled.
18. And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives.
19. And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.
I pray with you this morning, whatsoever has been stolen from our lives and destinies shall be restored in full in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. We will not miss the opportunities that will lead us aright in Jesus name, Amen.
David, with these principles, recovered all that the enemies stole from him and his six hundred men. The scripture made it known that, David had spoils after recovering all that was stolen. I also want you to know that, recovering all involves working, because fighting the strong men who raided you won’t be easy, it involves wisdom, strategies and carefulness. To recover all, your skills need to be effective, you don’t sit down look things happening, you go after it, you are to be involved in the process of recovery. David was at the forefront of the battle, you must lead your recovery from within and without. Commitment is needed because the strength needed for recovery is more than the strength needed to be spoiled. Go after your plunderer and get back what belongs to you, may the Lord lead us aright in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God Morning and God Bless you.

Week 4, Day 6:

TOPIC: LEARNING FROM KING DAVID 6: Be Merciful As You Act

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 86:11.
“11. Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 30:11-13
“11. And they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he did eat; and they made him drink water;
12. And they gave him a piece of a cake of figs, and two clusters of raisins: and when he had eaten, his spirit came again to him: for he had eaten no bread, nor drunk any water, three days and three nights.
13. And David said unto him, To whom belongest thou? and whence art thou? And he said, I am a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master left me, because three days ago I fell sick.
When God gives us an assignment or instructions, He wouldn’t state all informations, but as we move on with the instructions, (we begin to see all unwrap), we need to be Merciful. Many persons in the bible received their blessing without being instructed to show hospitality but they did and this got them their Miracles. David would have seen the Egyptian as a distraction to where he was going, but he turned to him, took care of him and he later led them to their spoil and families. If they had neglected him they would have walked amiss and aimlessly.
Be Merciful as you go on with God’s Instructions. Show hospitality to the less privilege, care for the needy, attend to the sick, pray for people going through difficulty, these set of persons might be planted by God to show you the way, that leads you to your spoil or connect you to your destination. Don’t overlook assistance as you go on with God’s instructions. Your next hospitality may be your next exploit, be sensitive to show mercy.
God Morning and God Bless you.

Week 4, Day 5:

TOPIC: LEARNING FROM KING DAVID 5: Acting Accordingly

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 86:11.
“11. Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 30:9-10.
“9. So David went, he and the six hundred men that were with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those that were left behind stayed. 10. But David pursued, he and four hundred men: for two hundred abode behind, which were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor.”
The proof of our Faith in God is our undeniable obedience to God’s instructions. Doing as commanded. Acting regardless of the present situation. After God’s response to David’s request, Almighty God said, “Pursue, for you shall surely overcome and recover all without fail”, that was God’s desire for David, the answer he’s been waiting for, all now depend on him to act. The questions, how will he encourage the wearied people to go? That’s left for him. Which way will he go? Just act and move. Will everyone be willing to go? Just keep moving. When God speaks the devil will tell you, “am here”. He did that by discouraging two hundred fighters to wait behind, but David was not distracted from what God said. Actually, God never said, “all of you purse,” He only told David to pursue, so He went with the little he had.
You’ve heard God spoken to you but you’re yet to take the step because of friends or helpers who said no way there, it’s time to act on what God said, it’s time to respond to the call of God. God gave you the assignment not others. God never told you who will go with you neither, He only instructed you to go, so, why delaying for someone? Start out with the instructions before the time works against you. God is waiting for you at the other side, not waiting for others you are waiting for. Start going out, take the tools you need and move on.
God Morning and God Bless you.

Week 4, Day 4:

TOPIC: LEARNING FROM KING DAVID 4: Wait For God’s Responses.

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 86:11.
“11. Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 30:8.
“8. And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And He Answered Him, Pursue: For Thou Shalt Surely Overtake Them, And Without Fail Recover All.
The most important stage of this lesson is Waiting on God For Response, Yes, waiting for Him to speak concerning your request. David took the ephod and made his intentions known to God. He ask if God will grant him the privilege to go after those who raided his house and if he will be able to meet up and rescue all that has been stolen away. Then, He also waited for God’s response. How? By quietness, subduing all emotions and noises around. Forgetting about the intentions of his men and making God the focus. He wasn’t eager to leave the presence of the Lord, then, God saw his preparation and gave him the go ahead. He assured him, he will recover all.
We pray, we fast but we never waited for his Response before acting on our request. It’s like, we telling Him what we want to do and go ahead to do it without receiving His direction. We assumed He will follow our direction rather than we following His leading. Many times God is willing to let His mind known to us but we are not ready to hear him because we are not settled in heart. We are still under the emotion. We are focused on what to do instead of listening to His response. We present the issue but we don’t wait for the response. This year, let there be changes in our attitude to hearing God. We need to be more focus and wait for Him to speak before we leap. With this, we will subdue waste in all we do in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God Morning and God Bless you.

Week 4, Day 3:

TOPIC: LEARNING FROM KING DAVID 3: Direct Access To God.

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 86:11.
“11. Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 30:7-8
“7. And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.
8. And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them?….”
God sent Jesus our lord to connect us to Him, by so doing, we have a direct access to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Those days, Abiathar, the Priest, stands as the link between God and David. He was to speak to God on behalf of David. But in a situation where Abiathar, the priest was under the control of emotion, he couldn’t think right at the moment, David took his place and went directly to God. He sent Abiathar to bring the ephod and he took his place.
There are times we need to access God directly without going through any intermediary. We need to take the bull by the horn and speak to God directly. You don’t need to look for a man of God or a pastor but going to God directly on your knees and seek for His intentions concerning the present situation. God is always ready to give an answer in such situation if we can take the risk. I might not know that situation or challenges of yours but I know you can speak to God directly and He will answer you. It’s time to apply a direct access principle and speak to God, He is waiting to hear your cry.
God Morning and God Bless you.

Week 4, Day 2:

TOPIC: LEARNING FROM KING DAVID 2: Control Your Emotion

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 86:11.
“11. Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 30:3-6
“3. So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.
4. Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.
5. And David’s two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.
6. And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: But David Encouraged Himself In The Lord His God.
David and his men, were warriors but couldn’t control their emotions when they came back to their camp. His men remembered their losses and intended to stone David because they were controlled by emotions. They all cried including David for their losses and none could comfort the other, including Abiathar, the priest.
This year, there shall be no losses around us in Jesus Mighty Name, no reasons to be stranded in any areas of life this year. Situations may arise in life that one need to show some emotions, no matter the situation we need to be in control of it. To be in control means to be Concerned about the situation and to be controlled by emotions means to be Worried. When you are concerned about situation you think of the way out but when you are worried you just feel that’s the end and you give up. To be concerned bring idea and solution to the present situation. We need to be in control of every situation this year and not the other way round. Until David was concerned about the situation there wasn’t solution. Be in control and be concerned about the situations and your emotions will be defeated. Control your emotions this year.
God Morning and God Bless you.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Week 4, Day 1:

TOPIC: LEARNING FROM KING DAVID 1: Dont Fight God’s People

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 86:11.
“11. Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 29:1-3.
“1. Now the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek: and the Israelites pitched by a fountain which is in Jezreel.
2. And the lords of the Philistines passed on by hundreds, and by thousands: but David and his men passed on in the rereward with Achish.
3. Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day?
Some lessons i will like us to learn from the life of King David before he ascended the throne in Israel, starting from when he rose to fight the children of Israel. He was a fugitive and was hidden in one of the towns of the Philistia. When the house of Israel rose to fight the philistines, David also went with the philistines to the battle field against Israel. With this attitude of him, God was very sad. The Lord of the philistines told the King, David will not go to battle with us, he might turn against us in battle. Then the king obliged and turned David back to ziglak. Before David and his men got back home their camp has been raided by Amalekites, with all their families and belongings being carried away, 1 Sam. 30:1-3.
When you stand against God’s anointed, it’s attracts God’s punishment. When you torment children of God, He has a way of dealing with you. In all your dealings this year, avoid touching the anointed of God; God’s servant, God’s sons and daughters. Don’t use your mouth anyhow against others. God’s word says in Psalms 105:15
“Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”
This year, do not trespass as you did last year which led to many loses around you. Watch out, if David was at home without going against God’s people, no nation would have raided his residence. Watch out so your domain won’t be raided this year.
God Morning and God Bless you.
