“5 Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ;

6 not with eye service, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,

7 with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men,

8 knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.”

The will of God is to do good with a sincere heart. Reasons why many rendered eye services is because they depend on their superior to pay them back not realizing it’s God that pays back. When God is about to pay back He judges with the thought of our heart while rendering our services. Every services rendered is direct to a persons but indirectly to God. It is God that touches the heart of the rewarder to reward.

“Verse 8, says, “knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.”

Stop limiting your wages by focusing on men. God is watching and ready to pay your wages accordingly. Your acts towards your family, friend, relatives, church members and colleagues is towards God and not the person. Your wages are on the way. With eye service you’re reducing your wages from God who judges the thought of our heart.

Verse 7 says, “with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men,”

You are not Sowing in vain, your heart service has wages, keep serving for you will soon be pay back. It may seems delayed but it will surely come.

7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

No one can be smarter than God so, stop thinking you are smarter than your employees, employer, spouse and everyone. Always remember you have a wage for each attitude. If we are govern by this mentality life will be a better place.

Are you an employer? How do you treat your employees? Are you using them or they are working for you? Yes, There’s difference.

If they are your worker or subordinate, you give them their dues when due not at your convenient time to their disadvantage. You don’t deny them their rights and privileges. No nepotism, tribalism, cheating or segregation. When you use your employees all the above attitude are involved. No promotion when due, delay of salaries, authoritative rulership, and more. Your attitude towards your workers has a wage. 

Are you that authoritative man or woman at home? There’s a wage for you. ‘Whatever a man sow that he shall reap.’ What are you sowing? You have a wage on everything you do. As a wealthy person, how do you treat others? There’s a wage to be paid back, because God is not a respecter of persons, he pays back equally without preference for age and position. Let this guide your mind today, that you have a wage for everything you do daily.

38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

What is wage? Wage is the payment for a work done. It’s a reward for service rendered. Likewise, every action and words have wages. Everyone has a wage consciously or unconsciously.

Our memory verse says, “The laborer is worthy of his wages” meaning you have to labour before you earn your wages. Ox that tread out the grain for you as a farmer must not be muzzled. As long as it does it’s work don’t deny its wages.

“Give And It Will Be Given To You”. We all need to labour one way or the other. We all need to do something in order to get the wages. Every help, words, seeds, work and giving is a labour that will come with it’s wages. As long as you’ve affected someone’s life directly or indirectly, you have a wage.

I’m glad to tell say, you have a wage, either known or unknown. Can I ask, what will your wages be? Do you have wages? Yes, we all have but what will it be? This is determine by the type of your labour. Start thinking on your wages and you can begin to ask God for the payment.

“10. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

11. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

12. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.”

For a stream to give clean water the source must be clean. For a heart to produce good output it need to be re-created, cleansed and renewed. 

Romans 12:2

“12. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Your intake need to be changed, what you focus your attention on need to be sieved inorder to produce a new thought and output. This can only be done by the Help of The Holy Spirit. 

David cried to God, after committing adultery with bethsheba and killing her husband, Uriah, to create in him a clean heart that will please and do the will of God. When the heart is purified that’s when we can know what is good, accepted will of God and also do what pleases God. If our heart is not pricked when we act negatively, it simply means, it has been corrupted by negative thought, our intakes are what displeases God. 

Ezekiel 36:26-27.

“26. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.”

We need to cry to God for a heart of flesh, a renewed heart inorder to walk in His will, and to do that which is perfect before Him. We need to ask for His Spirit to dwell in us so our intake can be purified, then can our output be made pure.

Father, we look to you for help this day, we need you to renew our heart and mind. Remove every heart of stone and replace it with the heart of flesh that walks in your will for our lives in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

“13. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

14. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

15. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Matthew 15:19.

“19. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, ADULTERIES, FORNICATIONS, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:.

Lust for opposite sex is another output of our heart. One can’t keep the eyes closed while moving around, either married or unmarried, but when we have control over the thoughts of our heart, temptation to lust over opposite sex will be defeated with the Help of Holy Spirit. Fornication and adultery is another product which has reck havoc on believers and the world generally. 

What is Fornication?

Fornication–now more commonly referred to as premarital sex–is when two unmarried individuals engage in sexual intercourse. Sex before marriage is now very rampart among youth across the globe.

What is Adultery?

This is a voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and someone other than that person’s current spouse or partner, either married or unmarried. We can hear these happening around us daily, married person having an affair with different spouse or unmarried.

The most common thing about the two is, they are generated from the thought within us, they were a thought which took control of the body.

Apostle James said, God is not the tempter but we are being tempted into those acts through our thought; what we think and what we allowed into our heart. We lusting over what’s not ours, which is not being able to control the thought of our heart. Many gives excuses for indulging in any of these acts but this is the truth, the thought of our heart need to be changed before we can realised that, we were being controlled by lust. Where is your thought guiding you to and what is dominating your heart? It’s time to tell yourself the truth and resist every thought towards fornicating or adultery, they are sin against Almighty God. Have control over the thought of your heart and your life will be pleasing to God.

“3. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

4. (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

5. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

Happy New Last month of the year, the last month In the season of Ingathering Of Harvest. This month shall pay you off for all you’ve missed this year in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

I like to remind us that the battle against negative thought is a battle of the heart. This is the reason why we need to be vigilant and be at alert to know when the battle is on. Negative Imagination is another output of the heart that need to be faced. Negative Imagination against oneself and others. Imagining someone dead, loosing his/her job, thinking evil occurrence against people without fault. When you imagine that people will suffer the consequences of crimes they never committed, imagining people crying gives you joy, then the battle of the heart is prevailing over you. When you prefer injustice to justice, cheating and being denied ones right, your heart need to be checked. Not against others alone, it’s also affect you because you start thinking evil against yourself, unconsciously, so evil can be for others. When you think evil towards others in your favour, it’s negative Imagination. When your thinking tank is filled with destroying others, bringing people down, frustrating others, you are simply telling God, this is what I desire for myself, because, what a man/woman sow he/she shall reap.

Paul speaking to the Corinthians, said, we need to wrestle against these imaginations by casting them down, resisting them, replacing them with positive imagination. Untill you win at the battle field you never have any plunder to take home, except being plundered. It’s time to start defeating those imagination against others and yourself. It’s time to cast them down, time to work on your mind positively. Your spouse is not as bad as you imagine. Your boss is not that worst, it’s your imagination, and the more your imagination is evil towards them the more they become cruel against you. Change your imagination so your heart can be healed. Stop the thought when they start coming and replace them with what positive ones from now on.
