Sunday, 20th November, 2022.

TOPIC: THANK GOD FOR HUMAN: 1. Thank God For Your Parent.

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: (KJV)

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 2:18-19
18 But Samuel, though he was only a boy, served the lord. He wore a linen garment like that of a priest.
19 Each year his mother made a small coat for him and brought it to him when she came with her husband for the sacrifice. (NLT)
This week, we will be Thanking God for Human Instrument God has been using for us through the years past. Most times we never find reasons for thanking God for these people around us, we felt God use them for us and that’s all, but sooner or later we will also find ourselves in their shoes and those thanks giving to God on our behalf will be what God will use in rewarding us.
Today, we are thanking God for our Parents, the first god we knew when we came to this world. Before anyone else, our parent was there for us. No matter how wicked our parents may be we can’t deny the fact that, they gave birth to us, and for us to be alive today simply means they invested in us according to their capabilities. Our Father and our Mother are our first god, leader, pastor and mentor we know in life. They might have failed in one way or the other but the Lord has used them to make us who we are today. Thank God for giving you such parent who never find reasons for aborting or selling you out at a tender age. Remember how God used them to meet your needs, clothed you and made you presentable today. May be you can’t find a good reason to thank God for your parent because of some circumstances, please, put those situations aside and thank Him for coming out of them, you just need to work against those things you are not happy with about them. Find reason to thank God for your parent today because some day, you will become a parent also.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Day 7. Time To Recognise His Calling

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 1:5.
“5. Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 3:8-10.
“8. And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.
9. Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
10. And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.”
Identifying the call of God has been the greatest challenge many have today. God has been beaconing on many, but are unable to response to His invite, instead we focus on someone or something else calling us. In the first place, Why is God calling the young and youth into ministry? Many “Elis” are about to go home and a lot of “Hophni and Phinehas” need to be replaced in God’s kingdom. God is in search of men and women who will carry out His mission throughout the world, so more Samuel are needed at this end time. We are part of those needed by God to right the wrongs of Hophni and Phinehas but most of us couldn’t recognize when He calls, I pray may our ears be open when he calls again, May we be enlightened when He is speaking to us in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Young Samuel couldn’t Recognize God’s voice, He kept going back to Eli when God call, but Eli, an experienced and God fearing man, open His understanding by telling him how to respond when God calls again. May we be surrounded with people who will help us identify the voice of God. Stop turning the other way, respond to His voice. Note this, He might not call you to start a church or into ministry, He might call you to be a blessing to other with your wealth of wisdom like Jethro, Moses’s Father-in-Law, (Exo. 18:13-23,) with your resources, like The Shunammite woman, (2 Kings 4:8-10), helping other ministers, like Joshua Ex. 33:12, and many more. God is not calling everyone to be a pulpit pastor but according to His deposit in us, all we need do is to hear what He’s calling us to do and walk in it for life fulfillment. I pray with you today, may our ears be open to what God is calling us into in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

Day 6. You Have A Right Hand Man/Woman

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 1:5.
“5. Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 4:13-15.
13. And he said, O my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send.
14. And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.
15. And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.
God always have plans of support for everyone He is sending on an errand. When God says, “I will Be With You” He’s not just talking about His Presence alone, He is saying, He will send others to help you, who will make His will known to you and make it easier for you. He’s talking about people who will complement your weaknesses and accept you as you are. God can’t use a blind man without someone that will be his eyes. He already have people who will be willing to carry your cross over but until you take the step into that assignment you may not come in contact with them. Some may be your blood, relatives, friends, colleagues and some may end up being your spouse, but everyone has an Aaron for God’s assignment over them. These set of people are more than a Helper because they never abandon you when you fall or fail.
God has ordained Aaron as the mouthpiece of Moses but until He get to Egypt before Aaron’s duty begins. There was Joshua for him also but until the ministry has been establish. There was Hur also but you have to keep moving before you will locate them. You don’t start a journey by staying in a position, so therefore, you have no excuse for not starting because all you need is in responding to His call first. Start in order to locate your assignment carriers.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

Day 5. He Knows Your Weaknesses

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 1:5.
“5. Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 4:10-12.
“10. And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.
11. And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?
12. Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.
God knows us more than we have an idea. He knows us both within and without. He formed us, chose our Gender, Parent and the country we are given birth to. We are a solution anywhere we found ourselves except on rare cases when He directs us to a specific place to carry out our assignment. There’s nothing about us that’s unknown to God our creator, so we have no excuses not to go for His assignment.
Moses thought God has limited information about him, he tried to persuade God in order not to go for the assignment. He told God he isn’t eloquent and God responded by saying,
“Who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?”
Your weaknesses isn’t a problem to God. He knows about it and how to use it for His Glory. It’s a tools in God’s hand to draw men to Himself. As long as you do things His way, He is ready to make that weakness of yours a testimony. Haven’t you seen the lame, blind, deaf and dumb, even illiterate win souls for Christ? You are not exempted from being used by God. Stop the excuses about your predicament, He knows them, only go as He sent you and you will come back rejoicing. Your weaknesses is a tools in God’s hand.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

Day 4. We Are Equiped Already.

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 1:5-7.
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 4:1-4
“1. And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee.
2. And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
3. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.
4. And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:
Consciously and unconsciously, God has handed over to us the necessary tools for His purpose for our lives but we do not recognize them. Many of these tools has been with us for years as we grow which we’ve not master the use. David had the sling with him in the bush but never knew it will end the life of Goliath, just in a similar way, we have the tools in our hands.
Moses thought his rod was just for shepherding the flock, He never knew it’ll path the sea, brought plagues on the Egyptians until God showed him. He asked for a sign and he was surprise to see the same rod he’s been carrying for year could actually turn to snake. That is how it looks like for you and I. We’ve been to familiar with those tools of God in our hand’s that we are shortsighted of the us. All we need do is to ask God to reveal the tools in our hands to carryout His purpose for our lives. We need to ask Him what tools He has given to us and how do we use them because that tools is what will announce us to our generation and perfect our assignment here on earth. No more excuses, we just need to ask Him to reveal the tools for our calling to us.
Father, help me recognise the tools you have given to me for your Glory, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

Day 3: Be Separated And Move.

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 1:5-7.
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 12:1 & 4
“1. Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
4. So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
When the Lord calls, He want us to be separated for Him alone. He desires we make Him the focus and follow His leading. When He calls, He will always make us better than He met us. His callings are with unfathomable promises that can’t be achieved without Him around us. One of the biggest challenges we have mostly, is our present predicaments when He calls, we feel we will be shamed and ridiculed, but that is not the purpose of God for us. He doesn’t see how we are but what He is making out of us as long as we carryout His instructions daily.
Father Abraham was an old man of Seventy-Five years of age when God beaconed on Him. He was without a child and with responsibility left by His Father. He had enough of burdens on Him but still God came calling to separate Himself from His father’s house and country. He gave Him the promises ahead and assured Him of having a lasting generation. Abraham yielded to this call and we are part of His blessings today.
Why not stop seeing how you are and respond to God’s calling over your life? God can’t make you worst than He met you, He can only make you better and greater if you will follow His leading. Stop the excuses today and turn to follow His leading and you will be glad you did. Be separated for Him and Move on with His purpose for your life.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

Day 2: You Have The Strength, Go Ahead.

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 1:5-7.
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

BIBLE READING:
Judges 6:11-14.
11. And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.
12. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.
13. And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
14. And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?
When the Lord visits you to declare his word, (some unbelievable words), they are actually real and truth because God wouldn’t say what He didn’t mean. Many atimes we have what we need to achieve some feet for God but we keep seeing them as what’s meant for ourselves, that was the case of Gideon. Gideon had the strength, boldness and wisdom to hid the wheat he had threshed from the Midianites but never thought of going in the same strength, boldness and wisdom to save His people. He was bold and wise to be out regardless of the threat of the Midianites. The strength was on him and he applied all these to make provision for his household but never saw it as tools to save the Israelite until the angel of the Lord appeared to him.
We have been endowed with the needed strength, wisdom and idea to carry out that assignment for God but we keep giving flimsy excuses that we can’t speak for God. The angel told Gideon,
“Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?”
Which Might? The Boldness, Courage, Strength and Wisdom to think of outsmarting the Midianites before they plunder you again. That uniqueness of yours is an instrument of God in your hand, use it, function with it and stop saying “The Lord is not With You”, He is with you but you’re not conscious of it. He is with you, Go in this might of God upon you this week and carryout God’s Assignment given to you and you will be amazed on what you will achieve for God.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

Day 1: You’re Not A Child Anymore

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 1:5-7.
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

BIBLE READING:
Jeremiah 1:6-7.
“6. Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
7. But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
We are all known by God. He formed us, even in our spirit being, before we found ourselves in a womb. He has ordained us for specific task while we were yet unborn. When He designed us, He gave us the functions and stature to fit His assigment for us here on Earth, so we have been equiped with every necessary ability to do what He called us to do.
When God calls us out for an assignment, it means, it’s our time. We are the next to handle that specific task He is giving. We might have no idea that, we are to be who He is calling us to be, but that is the real us before the beginning of the world. Brethren, it’s time to start functioning and stop the excuse of being a child. He knows your age before He called you. It’s time to start acting and stop the excuses of gender, He chose that gender for you. Jeremiah was talking about His age but God was telling Him I am your age, just go to wherever I send you to go, obey my command and your age won’t be a barrier.
Yes, am talking to you, you are not too young to carry out those assignments of God, only obey His instructions and your age won’t stop your calling. Be sure of what He wants you to do and do it, walk with it, fulfill it and people will see the God in you and not the age anymore. It’s time to start running the vision.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

Day 7: As A Christian, What Are You Passing On?

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:2
2 You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.

BIBLE READING:
Matthew 7:12.
“12. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.”
Are we all bold to call ourselves Christians anywhere we are? Is our attitude and behavior showing others to Christ? What are we passing to others about Christianity? Do we really live a life that professes our Faith? Can your children follow your attitude and make it to Heaven? Will Christ be pleased with how we relate with others? And finally, can you accept what you are doing to others?
Jesus was speaking on what we should pass on to others, He said we should do to them what we expect from them, this is the principle to enjoy God. Do you want to experience evil? Do evil to others. Do you want to be taken for granted? Take others for granted. You want your children to become an ingrate? Be an ingrate, just sow what you want to reap. Pass on to others your exact desire. Do you need help, pass it on. You want blessings, pass it on, your want lifting, lift others.
Being A Christian Is Being A Light, To Be A Light Is Being A Solution, And Being A Solution Is To Affect Lives Positively.
Pass It On To Others what will make Christianity prevail in your family, work place, environment and place of worship.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

Day 6: How Are You Using Your Youthfulness?

MEMORY VERSE:
2 Timothy 2:2
2 You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.

BIBLE READING:
Ecclesiastes 12:1-2
“1. Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
2. While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:”
In life, we have three stages to go through, The Childhood, The Youthful and The Old age stage. One leads to another and they are all interwoven. At the childhood stage, you are under the tutorlage of your parents, you are being given instructions and showed how to leave your life. The Youthful stage is the stage you define your part, you have control over yourself. This stage is the foundation of your old age. You get mature, decide on who to marry. You manage your marriage and start giving birth. The last stage is when you begin to reap the harvest of your actions in life. If you got it wrong at the Youthful stage you miss the purpose of the Lord for your life.
How are you managing your youthful stage? How are you managing your time, resources, your body and your walk with God? Hope you know you are a role model to other children behind you? Not just your siblings but those kids in your environment. Hope you are putting God first in all your plans? Our reading said, remember your creator in the days of your youth. How you live youthful life is a phase and example to those kids around you, so what are you showing them? Are you building those kids or breaking them with your Youthfulness? Are you destroying marriages or planning towards a better marriage for yourself? What are you passing on?
God Bless you and Good Morning.
