TOPIC: THE OUTPUT OF YOUR HEART 4: Unforgiveness.
MEMORY VERSE:
Proverbs 4:23.
“23. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
BIBLE READING:
Matthew 18:21, 35.
“21. Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
35. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
This morning, we are shifting our attention to another output of the Heart which is Unforgiveness. This may look somehow closer to bitterness because it comes as a result of bitterness. One leads to the other. Many offenses that cause bitterness of heart leads to Unforgiveness. This is the issue with Unforgiveness, if you can’t do away with the Bitterness it will be very hard to forgive.
Cain, The first child of Adam, was bittered that his offering was not accepted by God. He transfered his bitterness towards his brother which he couldn’t forgive and let go, and later murdered him. This is the danger in Unforgiveness. When unforgiveness is at it’s highest peak, it can lead to evil act like that of Cain.
When we forgive one another it’s a way of healing our heart and allowing God to take over the situation. For this to happen, you have to believe that,
1. No sin or act is unforgivable.
2. You need to seek for God to heal your heart.
3. You need to control your heart and who you speak to about the issue.
4. You need to call and speak to the person involve.
To forgive may not be easy but it is possible, you can do it, we can make it possible through the help of the Holy Spirit who rules our heart. May The Holy Spirit heal every heart this Morning, going through one uncontrollable situation, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
