TOPIC: God Is Present 6:  Sources Of Help In His Refuge.

MEMORY VERSE:
Psa 46:1.
God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

BIBLE READING:
Jeremiah 33:3
3. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Living in the Refuge of God doesn’t make all things available at our disposer, we have some responsibility in order to enjoy the fullness of the refuge and strength of God. Let us check through some point on this.
1. Prayers:
Being in the Refuge of God doesn’t stop our prayers. We still need to be fervent in Prayers. That is why in every situation prayer is paramount. Prayer can’t be too much and at no season should we be prayerless. In the Refuge place keep praying. Paul and Silas prayed while in the prison and God proved Himself amongst them, Acts 16:25-27.

2. Praises.
In the Refuge of God praise is His constant meal. When you praise Him, regardless of your situations, He turns things in your favour. That things are going well or otherwise is not a reason to stop praising God because He dwells in the Praises of His people, Ps. 22:3.
3. Your Good Works.
Being in the Refuge of God also means, time for the Rewards of your labour, Yes, harvest of your seeds sown. Many are under the refuge of God but they have no good reward to enjoy because they’ve never sown good seeds all their lives. For you to enjoy while under the Refuge of God you need to be a good seed sower.
Which of this point touches you? Are you of the opinion of being relax because you are under God’s refuge? Please don’t be, it’s time for Prayers, Praises and Good Work Rewards. May we enjoy the benefit of God’s Refuge in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

TOPIC: God Is Present 5:  Present Help In Trouble

MEMORY VERSE:
Psa 46:1.
God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

BIBLE READING:
1 Corinth 10:13.
“13. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
One of the difference between being in the refuge of God and the refuge of an entourage securities is the availabilities in times of problem. We’ve heard of securities who find alternatives route during robbery and left their employers at the detriment of the robbers. We’ve heard of entourages who fled during attack but our God is different, He is always present in times of trouble. Get this point well, He may not avert the troubles from coming, He may not stop the evil from occurring but He will surely be present when you need Him the most, be rest assured of that, He is right beside you. He will deliver you from those snares of the fowlers, He will make a way out to save you because He always do what we can’t do.
While Job was wallowing in losses, depression and wounds, God was aware, He was present. He knew what to do and when to do it. He will come for your rescue soon. When it seems you are weak and tired, when you can’t take it any more and you rely on Him, He will show up for you, but you need to recognize His presence around you even in that horrible situation. He won’t let your heart break beyond what you can bear. You will are not alone, He’s there beside you, He is your Refuge and Strength.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

TOPIC: God Is Present 4: He Is Always Present

MEMORY VERSE:
Psa 46:1.
God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

BIBLE READING:
Isaiah 43:2
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Our God is Omnipresent, Always around us, ever present God wherever we found ourself. He was present when Daniel was thrown into Lion’s den, He showed up and the lions bow to Daniel.
He was in the fiery furnace when the three Hebrew boys were thrown in it. He converted it to Air Conditioner.
He was present in the prison when Paul and Salis were locked up in the prison, and He set them free.
When Peter was locked up too, He was present in the form of an angel to free him from the king’s dungeon.
In the Wilderness, in the Red sea, at river Jordan, even at Calvary, God was present because, He’s presence fill everywhere at the same time, Father, we worship you, The Omnipresent God.
God is not selective of where to be, both good and bad situations, He is there, although He might leave you to your decisions at some moment but believe you me, God is always with you. Because we live in Him as our refuge and depend on Him as our strengthener, He will never leave nor forsake us.
David said in Psalms 139:7-11.
“7. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
8. If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
9. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10. Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
11. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.”
Now, my Bible tells me that, “wherever the spirit of the lord is there’s liberty.” His presence brings liberty, you will walk in liberty with this consciousness in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

TOPIC: God is Present 3: Why Strength being In His Refuge?

MEMORY VERSE:
Psa 46:1.
God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

BIBLE READING:
Psalms 144:1-2
1. Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
2. My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.
What is the need of the strength of God while in His Refuge? When we are In God’s refuge, it’s believed that war and storms seized and we will be at peace forever, yes but not that easy. Being in the refuge of God is not a reason to be lazy and idle, it’s not a means to run from difficulties but a means of the assurance of God’s backing in the face of all challenges. Being in God’s refuge we still need His strength to handle oppositions. The strength to pray, strength to fast, strength to resist the devil, strength to walk faithfully with Him and to be obediently, strength is needed. That was why David said,
“Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:’
You will think that God will fight the battles for us, give us victories on a plater of gold, no, it doesn’t work that way. God trains us and equip us for war even in His refuge. God doesn’t abode the cowards and lazy ones but those who will be strengthened and stand for Him. Are you that relaxed because God is your refuge? Do you run from duties because you are of God? May be you depend on your strength to take you further than where God can take you in life, you are fooling yourself. It’s time to live in the refuge of God and depend on His strenght to take you far in life. God’s strength is needed even in His Refuge.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

TOPIC: God is Present 2: God Is Our Strength

MEMORY VERSE:
Psa 46:1.
God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

BIBLE READING:
1 Sam 2:9
He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
We are all limited when it comes to strength outside God. We always feel we can do this, we can do that, and we don’t need God but the truth is this, whatever strength we think we possess, God is the brain behind it. That was why Prophet Samuel said, “By strength shall no man prevail”. If the Lord  hasn’t been our strength we would have been drained up by now, but God has been our strength. Why do you lay down at night weak and regain your strength in the morning? You said you slept and rested over the night, do you know countless of men and women who rested all through night and day without recovery from pains and weaknesses?
Job said,
Job 6:11-12
“11  What is my strength, that I should hope? and what is mine end, that I should prolong my life?
12 Is my strength the strength of stones? or is my flesh of brass?”
He declared that he has no strength of his own despite walking with God faithfully and God boasted of him to the devil, how much more we  that are struggling to be perfect with God? God is our Refuge and the only strength we need to  overcome the world and stand firm.
David said in Ps. 27:1,
“1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
The strength of our life is God, we can do nothing without His strength. I pray with you this morning, The Lord will strengthen you from within, your strength is renewed for the week and beyond in Jesus Mighty Name, everything sapping up your strength is blocked in Jesus name, by His strength this week, we will prevail in Jesus Precious Name, Amen. Go in the strength of God.

TOPIC: God is Present 1: God Is Our Refuge

MEMORY VERSE:
Psa 46:1.
God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

BIBLE READING:
Psa 91:1
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
What is a Refuge?
1: shelter or protection from danger or distress.
2: a place that provides shelter or protection
3: something to which one has recourse in difficulty.
So, David is saying, God is our Refuge; shelter, protection, hedge from every negative and invisible attacks and weapon. The same David expanciates further with Psalms 91, by saying, only under the Refuge of God is where we are secured and protected. In order words, when we are under this shelter we are invincible to the arrows of the devil.
Job 1:6-10
6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
Job was under the refuge of God daily and it was very glaring to the devil, that means, he has tried many times but to no avail. This is my point brethren, God being your Refuge doesn’t stop challenges from coming towards you, but He will stop the challenges from defeating you. Is God your Refuge? Does He know you at all? You can only be protected when He is your Refuge. Check yourself if you are under He’s refuge.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

TOPIC: Standing On God’s Promises 7: Keep Waiting For His Promise.

MEMORY VERSE:
Num 23:19
God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do [it]? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

BIBLE READING:
Job 14:14
“If a man die, shall he live [again]? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.”
I’m sharing this promise of God with you all today and I want you to hold unto it.
Isa 55:12
12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap [their] hands.
This is one of the promises of God concerning our safety. If there’s any reason why you need not to fear, it’s because of this promise of God to all His children. God promised to make our going out and coming in filled with Joy and Peace. Going ahead of us to convert every mountains and hills; (obstacles, limitations, oppositions, attacks from the devil, delays in any forms and rejection) into testimony, rejoicing and gladness of heart. I don’t know what you may be faced with, what the devil has been sounding in your ear, but I want you to hold unto this promise of God, against every spirit of fear in any form, decree and declare this word of God over every situation.
“Lord, you have promise me your joy and peace in every of my going out and coming in, I receive it today and for the rest of my life. My situation becomes a living testimony, I will sing for joy over every storms in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Father, I’m holding onto this promise because I believe it, in Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen.

TOPIC: Standing On God’s Promises 6: It Reveals Our Ability.

MEMORY VERSE:
Num 23:19
God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do [it]? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

BIBLE READING:
Jdg 6:12
12 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD [is] with thee, thou mighty man of valour.
13 And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where [be] all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
14 And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?”
The promise of God is a pointer to our ability and what we’ve been called to do. When the promise of God comes, most time we are very far from it and God is trying to direct us to where our ability lies, where He has assigned us. This is one of the reason why we doubt His promise for us because it looks impossible comparing it to where we are at the moment. But what God revealed to us is authentic and can’t be changed all because He has decided to do it. When God revealed His promise to Moses to deliver the Israelite, Moses had many excuses just as we do today, but God gave him reasons why he will do it including an assistant to help him out, likewise, that promise of God for you and i can’t be carried out by someone else except we turned it down.
Gideon has the strength and ability to defeat the Midianites but was focused on storing away food from them until God sent him an Angel to reveal his capabilities.  The promise came but seems fake. He rejected and doubted it but alas he accepted it. This is my message to you this morning, you have the ability in you to carry out that promise of God. Stop saying you are not capable of doing it. When God says it, He meant it. Walk into those promises boldly by saying “God said I can do it”, “God said I should do this”, that was the principle Gideon applied and He fulfilled God’s promise over his life. “We Can” as long as God promised it. Walk in the promises of God because the ability is in you.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

MEMORY VERSE:
Num 23:19
God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do [it]? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

BIBLE READING:
Luk 1:31-35
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.”
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Let’s Sing This Song.
*Cho*
Standing, standing,
Standing on the promises of God my Savior;
Standing, standing,
I’m standing on the promises of God.
Every promises of God are not void of power. Whatever God decree is established in the spiritual realm even if not seen in the physical yet. So, God’s promises can’t expire or be outdated because, the Power of God backs it up. God promises what He will do, not what He’s not interested in doing. Do you know what? You don’t need to ask how it will be because, the angel already made this known to us while speaking with Mary, the scriptures says,
“35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the POWER OF THE HIGHEST shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
The “Power of The Highest” will overshadow you to fulfill those promises regardless of your present situation. Listen now, may be you’ve been called barren, poor, mentally derail, that is not God’s promises for you, but the promises of God is about to be fulfill in your life, it doesn’t matter what the doctors said, the power of the household nor your Mockers, I am confident of this, God’s promises will stands over your life because it’s not by your power nor the powers under the earth but of the Power of the Most Highest. Your testimony will silence the wicked, it will become a world news in Jesus Mighty Name, (Amen) because the power of God will overshadow you to do what the natural couldn’t do in your case. Keep professing the promises till it becomes real.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

Num 23:19
God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do [it]? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

BIBLE READING:
Psa 78:70-71
70. He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:
71. From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.
Let’s Sing This Song.
Stanze 4.
Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord,
Bound to Him eternally by love’s strong cord,
Overcoming daily with the Spirit’s sword,
Standing on the promises of God.
*Cho*
Standing, standing,
Standing on the promises of God my Savior;
Standing, standing,
I’m standing on the promises of God.
The Promises of God are His desires for us not our request. They are the purpose of our living which He chooses to reveal to us. We never created ourselves neither did we discern who to become. The promise of God is that which we discovered and worked on. There are many who never thought they will be where they are today, it wasn’t the path of their lineage nor the works of their parent, but God, In His infinite mercy, revealed His purpose to us which are His promises and we work along with it. The Promise of God is the reason for our creation. So, since we are created, definitely, we must fulfill purpose which is that promise of God to us all.
God found David and called him from the sheepfold. He showed him His purpose and made it a promise to be fulfilled in his life. David never saw himself becoming a king some day, he wasn’t from the lineage of Kings nor have any relationship with the king until God revealed His promises to him. What God revealed to you, is His purpose for your life, for Him letting you know His mind for you, made it His promises to you, I see those promises coming to pass in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. All He said, He is capable of doing, no devil can stop it. Run with those promises, diligently stand on it to proof to God that you believed it, then, you shall see it come to pass. God will hasten His promise in our life this month in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
