TOPIC: God Is Present 6: Sources Of Help In His Refuge.
MEMORY VERSE:
Psa 46:1.
God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
BIBLE READING:
Jeremiah 33:3
3. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Living in the Refuge of God doesn’t make all things available at our disposer, we have some responsibility in order to enjoy the fullness of the refuge and strength of God. Let us check through some point on this.
1. Prayers:
Being in the Refuge of God doesn’t stop our prayers. We still need to be fervent in Prayers. That is why in every situation prayer is paramount. Prayer can’t be too much and at no season should we be prayerless. In the Refuge place keep praying. Paul and Silas prayed while in the prison and God proved Himself amongst them, Acts 16:25-27.
2. Praises.
In the Refuge of God praise is His constant meal. When you praise Him, regardless of your situations, He turns things in your favour. That things are going well or otherwise is not a reason to stop praising God because He dwells in the Praises of His people, Ps. 22:3.
3. Your Good Works.
Being in the Refuge of God also means, time for the Rewards of your labour, Yes, harvest of your seeds sown. Many are under the refuge of God but they have no good reward to enjoy because they’ve never sown good seeds all their lives. For you to enjoy while under the Refuge of God you need to be a good seed sower.
Which of this point touches you? Are you of the opinion of being relax because you are under God’s refuge? Please don’t be, it’s time for Prayers, Praises and Good Work Rewards. May we enjoy the benefit of God’s Refuge in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
