TOPIC: REASONS FOR HIS PRESENCE? 1: To Give Thanks To God

MEMORY VERSE:
Ps. 122:1
1 I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.”

BIBLE READING:
Ps. 100:4-5
4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
5 For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.
Going to the House of God has been seen as routine to many believers, (Sunday routine) since the real reason for service is unknown to many. Many attend church services because it’s a norm and to see friends and love ones but that’s not why we attend service.
The first reason for appearing before God is to give God Thanks for who He is, for all He has done and what He will do. He’s our God and our maker, the reason for our living. Going before Him is a sign of worship. The scripture said of Elkanah and his family in, 1 Sam. 1:3
“THIS MAN WENT UP FROM HIS CITY YEARLY TO WORSHIP AND SACRIFICE TO THE LORD OF HOSTS IN SHILOH.
Our purpose in His presence is to worship His Majesty and not just to meet with friends. To show God gratitude for all His act towards us since we left His House. We are to present our sacrifices of praise and offer him Thanksgiving.
David said we should come into His gate with thanksgiving and into His court with Praise. Mind you, this appreciation focuses on God and God only, it has nothing to do with men. That was what King Solomon did when He became the King of Israel. He appeared before the God of His Father first with thousands of sacrifices which opened all other doors for him, 1 Kings 3:3-6.
Don’t appear before God without this purpose in heart. Go with your thanksgiving and sacrifices when next you appear in His Presence and He will show you who He Is. Praise The Lord forever more, Halleluyah.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: FATHER’S DAY CELEBRATION – Who Is A Father?

MEMORY VERSE:
Gen. 2:7
“7 And the LORD God formed MAN of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and MAN became a living being.”

BIBLE READING:
John 8:38.
“38 I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father.”
I want to Celebrate All Men world wide today, Happy Father’s Day, both the present Fathers and yet-to-be Fathers. I pray with you all, May we not loose our purpose as a Father in Jesus Wonderful Name, Amen.
The word Father is an all encompass word. This is the same name ascribed to the Almighty God in heaven by our Lord Jesus Christ while on earth. So, when you are call “A Father” the first thing is to be “A Responsible Man” who is actively in service, for God, The Father, is always working and meeting needs.
When God was to create human, He created  a Man first, made Him to be like Him, and breath the breathe of Life into Him, meaning, “My Fullness Is In You”, this is significant to all Men. We are representatives of God wherever we are. As a Father, you have duties to carry out to;
1. Your Eve – Your wife.
2. Your Abel and Cain – Your Children.
3. Your Garden – the environment you find yourself; your community, work place, house of God, family, both immediate and extended.
Jesus was always Happy talking about His Father, that is how we Father should be talked about by our Children, wife and everyone around us. That you have a child out of wedlock doesn’t change the title of being a Father to that child, be responsible. That you are not planning to wed the mother of your child doesn’t stop you from taking necessary responsibility . A Father is a Man who has worn the shoe of having a wife and/or a child.
Do you worth to be celebrated today? I once met a young boy of about Fifteen years of age during Sunday School section who ask me, “Sir, why should I honour a Man who is not responsible as a Father to me?” The way he spoke, you will feel the pain of not being cared for by his father. Deep inside of you, should we celebrate you today? Can your child/wife be proud to call you “My Father?” Don’t just celebrate with the Crowd ask yourself if you deserve to be called a Father, then you can do the needful. Let today be a day of reconciliation with God and your family if you are not qualified to be called A Father.
I pray for every Father again, we will not fail God in our duty in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
HAPPY FATHER’S DAY.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: THERE IS SECOND CHANCE 7:
Be Thankful Always

MEMORY VERSE:
Micah 7:8
8 Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The LORD will be a light to me.

BIBLE READING:
Philippians 5:18
“18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.*
We found this as most difficult thing to do, even by committed believers, to Give thanks especially when things aren’t working. When things aren’t working, learn to Give God thanks. When you are disappointed, learn to celebrate God first, for His word says,
“28 And we know that all things work together for  good to those who love God, to those who are  the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28.
You are not happy that things aren’t going your way, but you are telling God “I know you know what you are doing.” The situations is not final but your attitude can make it the final. Not every situation should control your attitude, learn to see things God’s way and you will be on the path to Second Chance. Gratitude has a lot to do with restoration. If all we have discussed this week are being followed but lack the attitude of Giving thanks one might still be on the same position. Always find way to Say “Thank you Jesus” in that situation no matter how hard it looks like.
I pray for everyone this day, We will be raised to the Next Level in Jesus Mighty Name, our Second Chance shall no more be delayed again in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: THERE IS SECOND CHANCE 6: Right Your Mistakes.

MEMORY VERSE:
Micah 7:8
8 Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The LORD will be a light to me.

BIBLE READING:
Gen. 28:8-9
“8 It was now very clear to Esau that his father did not like the local Canaanite women.
9 So Esau visited his uncle Ishmael’s family and married one of Ishmael’s daughters, in addition to the wives he already had. His new wife’s name was Mahalath. She was the sister of Nebaioth and the daughter of Ishmael, Abraham’s son.
Everybody makes mistakes in life. Some Mistakes are not that bad to bring destruction but some has recked many down the line. Few were very lucky to get back to their feet but many can’t even trace their down fall. This is the truth of it all, if you can trace the source of your problem and you are ready to face it, you can enjoy Second Chance.
Most times, we think that Esau loosing his blessings was the genesis of his problem but that wasn’t the case. Esau was hated by his mother because of the women he married, they were thorns in her flesh, Gen. 27:46.
When Esau realize the genesis of his problems in Gen. 28:6-8, he began to make amendment. His father’s prayer was like a curse but it was a blessing in disguise. Isaac said,
“40 By your sword you shall live, And you shall serve your brother; And It Shall Come To Pass, When You Become Restless, That You Shall Break His Yoke From Your Neck.”
Gen. 27:40
Now, after a diligent thought, I believed Esau knew the beginning of his mistake and started working on it, so, He search for a woman in the linage of Abraham, which implies, connecting to the blessings of Abraham. The next step was what his father said,
“And It Shall Come To Pass, When You Become Restless, That You Shall Break His Yoke From Your Neck.”
So he needed to go back to work, increase his commitment and that generated his second chance.
Gen. 32:6-7,
“6 Then the messengers returned to Jacob,  saying, “We came to your brother Esau, and he  also is coming to meet you, and four hundred  men are with him.”
7 So Jacob was greatly afraid and distressed; and he divided the people that were with him, and the flocks and herds and camels, into two companies.”
What do you need to change to create that Second Chance? Do you need to stop drunkenness, flirting around, stubbornness, disobedient, laziness, mistakes to correct, apologies to be granted, forgiveness, there is always something to stop in order to create that Second Chance. It is possible you just have to  search out what you need to let go and start all over again.
I pray for you today, may your eye be open to what you need to let go and let in into your life in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: THERE IS SECOND CHANCE 5: Service To Humanity

MEMORY VERSE:
Micah 7:8
8 Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The LORD will be a light to me.

BIBLE READING:
Acts 9:36-41
36 At Joppa there was a certain disciple named  Tabitha, which is translated Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and charitable deeds which she did.
37 But it happened in those days that she became sick and died. When they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room.
38 And since Lydda was near Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to them.
39 Then Peter arose and  went with them. When he had come, they brought him to the upper room. And all the widows stood by him weeping, showing the tunics and garments which Dorcas had made  while she was with them.
40 But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.
41 Then he gave her his hand and lifted her up; and when he had called the saints and widows, he presented her alive.
How useful are you to people around you? What’s your influence in your work place, home, neighbourhood and your church? In your extended family, are you known as a responsible member of the family? What can people say about you, positive or negative report? Hospitality or stinginess? Do people avoid or love working with you?
Second Chance is ordained by God but carried out by men; human you meet everyday. God will not appear physically, He will use human around you. Everyone who experienced a New Beginning was helped  through a human. So, if you leave a bad influence on whom God has ordained for your lifting, will there be a Second Chance?
Dorcas influenced almost everyone that came around her, the scripture said,
“This woman was full of good works and charitable deeds which she did.” Acts 9:36.
That simply means, she was good to a lot of people not just the widow. When she died,  you will noticed, everybody had something to contribute for her Second Chance? Those who doesn’t have faith that she can resurrect did the washing of her body, those who were dependent on her for living kept crying of her good deeds. Ministers kept praying for her resurrection. People were ready to travel long distance to call Apostle Peter on her behalf. Apostle Peter was ready to make sure God brings her back to life by sending every forms of distraction away. Until she was back to life everyone was not at rest? If she had negative influence on people and God desire to resurrect her, who would have carried out all these assignments? Can others run around for you to be raised? Can many sacrifice their time, energy and resources to make things okay for you? Serve humanity and your Second Chance will come to pass.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today. May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: THERE IS SECOND CHANCE 4: Determination Brings Second Chance.

MEMORY VERSE:
Micah 7:8
8 Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The LORD  will be a light to me.

BIBLE READING:
Ruth 1:16-18.
16 But Ruth said: “Entreat me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God.
17 Where you die, I will die, And there will I be buried. The LORD do so to me, and more also, If anything but death parts you and me.”
18 When she saw that she was Determined to go with her, she stopped speaking to her.”
How determined are you concerning your decisions? When things turns the way you never expected do you have a change of heart? Determination is one of the greatest keys to restoration in Life.
Ruth was left without the hope of having a child in Naomi’ house. Her husband died without her being pregnant. But her doggedness to stay put, in spite of being childless in life, this made her a mother. Naomi, her mother in-law, tried discouraging her to go her way but she stay put with her mother in-law. At the end of it all, she had a child with Naomi’s kinsmen and was even in the linage of Jesus Christ our Lord.
How strong is your determination? When your motivation is gone, can you still stand with your determination? Even when your trusted person like Naomi tells you to back out, can you still stand by your word? If yes, Second Chance awaits you ahead. That determination to take the bold step, to face that limitation, strategy, is all we need. Your determination is your Faith. How determined are you for the Second Chance?
God Bless you and Good Morning.

TOPIC: THERE IS SECOND CHANCE 3:  Seeking His Counsel Brings Second Chance

Memory Verse:
Micah 7:8
8 Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise;  When I sit in darkness, The LORD will be a light to me.

Bible Reading:
1 Sam. 30:1-5,8,18-19
1 Now it happened, when David and his men came to Ziklag, on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the South and Ziklag, attacked Ziklag and burned it with fire,
2 and had taken captive the women and those who were there, from small to great; they did not kill anyone, but carried them away and went their way.
3 So David and his men came to the city, and there it was, burned with fire; and their wives, their sons, and their daughters had been taken captive.
4 Then David and the people who were with him lifted up their voices and wept, until they had no more power to weep.
5 And David’s two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the widow of Nabal the Carmelite, had been taken captive.
7 Then David said to Abiathar the priest,  Ahimelech’s son, “Please bring the ephod here to me.” And Abiathar brought the ephod to David.
8 So David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all. ”
18 So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and  David rescued his two wives. 19 And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all.
We are very familiar with this second Chance given to King David to-be. David went out to fight against the children of Israelite while hiding with the Philistine, (1 Sam. 29). He was denied going to the battle field with the Philistines. So, God was angry with David and sent the Amalekites to David’s camp who carried away all their families and belongs.
The scripture said, they all wept when they got back to the camp and met it empty. His followers were ready to stone David for leading them to battle when their families were carried away, but David sought the face of the Lord His God through Abiathar the priest, and God gave him the nod to go after the Amalekites. David and his people then recovered all that was carried away from them.
Seeking God’s face in times of challenges bring a Second Chance. It simply means you are handing over to God for His will to be done. When you seek His will, it comes as a Second Chance. Jesus said,
“Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew. 6:10
When God’s will is done, it comes as a Second Chance. I pray with you today, as we seek His face this week, our Second Chance will Manifest in Jesus Mighty Name. He will give us directives to break forth in Jesus Mighty Name. Seek His face to receive the next step to take concerning that pressing issue of your life. Enough of men information, seek God’s face and your situation will change for good in Jesus precious name, Amen.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

Memory Verse:
Micah 7:8
8 Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise;  When I sit in darkness, The LORD  will be a light to me.

Bible Reading:
Gen. 16:16-16.
15 So Hagar bore Abram a son; and Abram  named his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael.
16 Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar  bore Ishmael to Abram.
Gen. 17:1.
1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.
Our Father, Abraham, was a man of Faith. His faith was spoken of in Hebrews 11. The scripture said, he believed in the Lord and it was accounted to him as righteousness, Rom. 4:3. Abraham was a product of second chance. In chapter 16 of Genesis, he forsook God’s promises and danced to the tune of his wife (Sarah) by accepting the offer of Hagar in order to have a child. He disobeyed God’s instructions. He never deem it fit to confirm from God and the result was Ismail. Thirteen years later, God’s mercy searched for Abraham, gave him a second chance. God’s Mercy, that supersedes our wrongs and iniquities will locate us in Jesus Mighty Name.
God visited Him and gave Him another chance to walk faithfully and be blameless. He reminded him of all His promises in the past and still assured him of bringing them to pass. God is giving you a second chance this week, Amen.
Romans 9:15-16,
For He says to Moses, “I  will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” 16 So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.”
1.Lift your voice to God this morning and begin to ask for Mercy for Second Chance.
2. Father, Give me another chance through your Mercy. As your Mercy located Father Abraham, Lord let your Mercy locate me in Jesus Precious name, Amen.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

TOPIC: THERE IS SECOND CHANCE 1: By Waiting On God

Memory Verse:
Micah 7:8
8 Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise;  When I sit in darkness, The LORD  will be a light to me.

Bible Reading:
Job 42:10-11
10  And the LORD restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
11 Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been his acquaintances before, came to him and ate food with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the  adversity that the LORD had brought upon him. Each one gave him a piece of silver and each a ring of gold.”
Our God is full of mercy from generation to generation. He is the God that is slow in judgement. His love towards His children is everlasting. He makes provision for second chance to all His children. He never wants any of His children to perish or miss His plan for them. I don’t know how you might have missed it before now, but i am here to let you know that, God still have another chance for you no matter your situation.
God specializes in bringing back “Old Good Day in a Fresh Way”. I don’t know the chances you’ve missed but my God is preparing another chance for you like He did to Job and many of our father’s in the past in Jesus Mighty Name.
Am leaving you today with the memory verse again, say it with Faith,
“8 Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The LORD will be a light to me.”
Our Father, Job, once lost everything, he was a man sitting in darkness, loneliness, rejected stage in life. His wealth waxed away by the devil and he became the poorest of the poor. But He never gave up on God, and he said,
Job 14:14,
“If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait, Till my change comes.
Job’s words were words of encouragement, believe, hope and not of down casted. Don’t give up even when there’s reasons to give up. If you will believe, there is a second chance awaiting you, keep waiting On God.
God Bless you and Good Morning.

TOPIC: STUDY ON LUKE 5:1-11: 7:
HIS CALLING IS ALWAYS GREATER

Memory Verse:
Romans 8:30
“30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”

Bible Reading:
Luke 5:9-10.
“9 For he and all who were with him were  astonished at the catch of fish which they had  taken;
10 and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with  Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “DO NOT BE AFRAID. FROM NOW ON YOU WILL CATCH MEN.”
God always have better option whenever He calls one from where he is. Either we are doing fine or otherwise, So far He called you to change what you are doing, be rest assured, He is taking you to a better place. When God calls you, it’s a higher calling compare to where He found you.
Peter was an expertise fisherman, that was the highest level he would have attained in life. That was His profession and he was hard working. But when the call of God came upon him, he became  “Fishers Of Men”. He was lifted to be an Apostle of Jesus Christ. We are called Christians today because he accepted the call to extend the work of Jesus Christ, our Lord, after His death. Many run from the call of God upon their lives because of “Fear of the Unknown”. Listen to me, whichever discipline you choose in life, they are full of challenges but for the call of God, you are rest assured, you are sent on an errand by God and He can’t abandon you along the way.
Are you here this morning still doubting if you should answer that call upon your life? Am assuring you today, He won’t leave you if He is the one calling you. Answer Him as the small Samuel did, as Elisha did, and as the Apostles did, and you will be glad you did.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
