TOPIC: DIFFERENT SITUATION 6: Praise Prayer Situation

Memory Verse:
Jere. 32:26-27

27 “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?

Bible Reading:
Philippians 4:6
“6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
If there is any prayer believers will pray to the highest level in life, is the prayer of *Thanks Giving to God.* This prayer is the best prayer that works for all situation. In the time of needs, Thanksgiving prayer works. During confusion, depression, battle and attack, it works for everyone and God answers this form of prayer faster compare to any other type of prayers.
Paul and Silas made use of it and God hastened to rescue them, Acts 16:25-31. The children of Israel made use of it during the confrontation with their enemies and their enemies destroyed one another, 2 Chronic. 20:20-23. Jesus was face to face with Lazarus death, He applied Thanksgiving, and Lazarus was restored back to life, John 11:41-44.
I want to draw our attention to a point in this last passage, John 11:41, Jesus said, 
“41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “FATHER, I THANK YOU THAT YOU HAVE HEARD ME.”
Jesus prayed to God saying, “FATHER, I THANK YOU THAT YOU HAVE HEARD ME”, this was His first statement which was suppose to be the last statement of prayer. Before the miracle was yet done He was thanking God for hearing Him. He didn’t say, “Thank you that you will hear me” but “FATHER, I THANK YOU THAT YOU HAVE HEARD ME”. This is a prayer that goes with full Faith in the ability of God.
Can you follow suit as Jesus Christ prayed Thanksgiving prayer in hard situation, and begin to Thank God because He has heard you. He is handling the situation. He has given you victory.  Let us put aside the names of the situation this morning and Thank God for the sure victory over them all. If you can pray the prayer of Thanksgiving, Dance of Thanksgiving, Shout of Thanksgiving, and Attitude of Thanksgiving, put it to action today and see how God will respond with His power. God bless you.

“3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show  you great and mighty things, which you do not  know.’”
There are some situations that demands Revelation Prayer – Knowing the Why, How, When and What a situation is all about. Searching for reasons behind an occurrence. Jesus said, 
“32 And you shall know the  truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32.
There are times you just need to know the truth about the present  situation, then you can know how to go about it. The bible says, 
“3 If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?” Ps. 11:3. That means, every situation is traceable to a foundation that must be handled carefully. Without this knowledge one may pray amiss, I decree upon you today, the deep Revelation for your present situation be release on you in Jesus wonderful name, Amen.
Daniel Chapter 2, was the story of how Daniel prayed, with his friend, to God to reveal the king’s dream. Revelational prayer is a key to many situation that looks confusing. This is one area we believers should pray towards the most. We need Revelation to bring the will of God to pass in this generation. Many situations that are against the Gospel need revelational prayer. Individually, we need revelational prayer, I pray this morning, may your inner eye be open to the mystery that God has for you in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. God bless you.

TOPIC: DIFFERENT SITUATION 4: Idea Prayer Situations

“26 Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,
27 “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?

Bible Reading: 
Gen. 30:37-39.
“37 Now Jacob took for himself rods of green  poplar and of the almond and chestnut trees,  peeled white strips in them, and exposed the  white which was in the rods.
38 And the rods  which he had peeled, he set before the flocks in the gutters, in the watering troughs where the flocks came to drink, so that they should  conceive when they came to drink.
39 So the  flocks conceived before the rods, and the flocks  brought forth streaked, speckled, and spotted.”
There are times that all we need is an Idea and not Miracle, Strength or Action, we just need the Right Idea that works. God do give ideas that free one from slavery and create a change of situation. I hope this is not what you need, Idea? Many keep going for miracle and deliverance service while all they need do is to pray for idea that works.
Jacob, the son of Isaac, need not to pray for deliverance but for idea to be freed from Laban slavery. As cunning as he was, he met a man more cunning and smarter than him. Then, he realises that all he needed is not strength to keep being a slave, or sudden miracle but an idea that will set him free forever. When God gave him the idea it was outstanding to Laban’s cunningness. He couldn’t oppose it because that’s the only solution for the situation. Things won’t work for you the way it worlds for others, No, God have ways of answering our prayers but you need to know what to pray for. Is it miracle you need? Strength to cope? Power to take action or an idea? May the Holy Spirit help you locate your real need today in Jesus mighty name, Amen. 
As a reader of this Devotional, I pray for you today, the needed idea for your manifestation rest upon you today in Jesus mighty name, Amen. Some of you have the idea but you can’t recognise it, today, may your understanding be open to recognise and utilize those ideas in Jesus Precious Name, Amen. God bless you.

TOPIC: DIFFERENT SITUATION 3: Prayer and Acting Situations

Bible Reading: 
2 Sam. 15:31-34
“31 Then someone told David, saying, “Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom.” And David said, “O LORD, I pray, turn the counsel of  Ahithophel into foolishness!”
32 Now it happened when David had come to the top of the mountain, where he worshiped God—there was Hushai the Archite coming to meet him with his robe torn and dust on his head.
33 David said to him, “If you go on with  me, then you will become a burden to me.
34 But if you return to the city, and say to Absalom, ‘I will be your servant, O king; as I was your  father’s servant previously, so I will now also be your servant,’ then you may defeat the  counsel of Ahithophel for me.”
The third way God handling our situation is by “Praying and Acting” at the same time about a situation. We all know what we want in line with the purpose of God concerning us. We have an idea of what God has predestined us to become but limitations may set in and we decide to pray about it, still, we wait instead of taking a bold step towards it, God won’t respond in such  situation. Joseph knew he wasn’t suppose to be in the prison, he wasn’t a criminal neither was any wrong found in him but he was wrongly accused. He kept doing God’s will and acting towards he’s release from the prison. He spoke to the Butler, “Remember me when all go well with you”. He acted against he’s present situation. God never gave him a response of “Speak to the butler” but he did and  two years later, he was sent for. You don’t just keep praying, act along. 
David knew whom Ahithophel was, that His counsel was so powerful. When he was told about Ahithophel collaboration with Absalom, He prayed to God to frustrate his counsel and still went further to act by sending “Hushai the Archite” to carry out a plan to destroy Ahithophel’s counsel, it wasn’t a response from God, it was David acting He’s prayers and God sealed it. I hope you are not waiting for God to do all for you? It’s time to start acting that purpose of God upon your life as you pray along. 
Keep praying and start acting against that situation. 
It’s one of the ways God respond to the cry of His Children. As you open your heart to pray and act, you will get it right in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

TOPIC: DIFFERENT SITUATION 2: Prayer Strenghten Situations

Bible Reading: 
2 Corinth. 12:8-10
“8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord  three times that it might depart from me.
9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my  infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in  persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’ sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
The Second form of response of God to our situation is “Strengthening Situation”. In this case, God doesn’t take our situation away, but gives us the strength to bear it. He releases the needed Grace for the journey.
Apostle Paul was serving God with a thorn in his flesh which he felt God should remove but instead, God said, my Grace is sufficient for you. Are you in such situation that prayers seems to be a waste of time? This might be your answer, His Grace is sufficient for you. In that situation, you will still shine the light of God. 
Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, experience such response. He prayed for the cup to pass over him but God, His Father, only strengthened him for the journey ahead. I don’t know who may be in such situation right now and you are about to give up on God? Keep praying, don’t give up, His Strength, Grace, Enablement and endowment is available for you, you will not fail, you will not fall, neither will you be defeated but you will fulfill purpose. The Lord will release upon you the needed strength to handle and overcome the situation in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

“9 Now Jabez was more honorable than his  brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore  him in pain.”
10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he  requested.”
“For with God, all things are Possible” this has been our faith and stand in Christianity. For every situation we find ourselves, we believe God has something to do about the situation even when we deep ourselves into it. We know He works all things for our good, He can change situations on our behalf and give men instead for us. I will also want us to know that, all situations have different responses from God. God answers prayers for every situation but with different answers. 
Today, we check the “Prayer Changing Situation”. This happens to every believers consistently. We cry to God about something in our lives and in a twinkling of an eye God grants our request, the miracle happens and we start celebrating, that is a  Prayer Changing Situation, but not all situation falls in this category. When Jesus was on earth, his prayers on the sick fell in this categories and miracles were recorded, I pray for someone today, your situation will be a Prayer changing situation in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Jabez cried to the Lord and God heard and changed his situation, may God hear your cry and change you situation  in Jesus Name, Amen.

“17 He said to him the third time, “Simon,  son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.”
Who is a leader? They are those called to show others the right path in life, not necessary spiritual things alone but in all areas of life. Everyone reading the devotional today is a leader in one area of life. As long as you have people looking up to you, (age is not a barrier), you are a leader. Married man, A leader in the home. Married woman role model and a leader to the children and other women. Leader in the family, place of work, department in Church, financial leaders, nation leader and many more. As long as people have expectation on you, you are a leader. Either first or last born of the family. We may be a follower in one area of life but also a leader in another aspect, but what are you feeding your followers with? Are you showing them the right path or discouraging them? Are you USING them or training them? Do you care for those you are leading? Everyone you are leading are God’s sheep, feed them well.
As a Christian leader, can others follow your path and enjoy God? Politician leaders, do you robber Peter to pay Paul? As a Father, what are you imparting on your wife and children? First born of the family, which way are you treading on? You are chosen to be where you are, to correct the wrongs of your predecessors? Not to tread their path again. Are you a Good leader? Then Feed your followers the right meal. God bless you all.

Bible Reading: Pro. 22:6
“6 Train up a child in the way he should go,  And when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Like the saying goes, “Like Father like Son, like Mother like Daughter”. What are you imputing in your children? What influence do you have over your children starting from their dressing, spoken words, what they watch, where you take them to and who they mingled with. Oh, are you that parent that pampers children, you want them to be expose so you allow them to keep late night outing, well done daddy, well done mummy. If your parent had allowed you to live that way will you look presentable as you are today? No difference between your children and prostitutes out there, all in the name of looking good. How do you handle your children when it comes to money issue? You let them spend without knowing how to save? Was that what made you strong today? How about knowing God through you, can your children boost of that? That your parent failed you doesn’t mean you should fail them. Let’s train up our children in the way they should go and when they grow old, they’ll look back and appreciate our so called strict/ disciplinary upbringing. These children are gifts of God in our lives and we are accountable to God. Are you a Good Parent?

TOPIC: WHO ARE YOU 3: Are You A Good Child?

“8 My son, hear the instruction of your father, And do not forsake the law of your mother;
9 For they will be a graceful ornament on your head, And chains about your neck.”
With the world we are in today, children has turned the world around. The devil has succeeded in turning children against their parent, elders and even ministers in the name of ‘Old School’ and ‘Wise Idea’ but the foundation of the Lord stands sure. No child can live or be progressive without the blessing of the parent. The God a child first recognises is the parent and if they will be successful in life, they need to honour and respect their parent first of all. In the ten commandment, the scripture said, 
Exo. 20:12 
“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you. 
Now, your father may be a drunkards, womaniser, careless and a nonchalant attitude person, the Scripture says, “Honour your father…”
Your mother was a witch according to  your source, she’s a harlot, gave birth to you out of wedlock, she abandoned you and went with another man, my question remains, is she your biological mother? The Scripture says, “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you.”
When they give you instructions, didn’t you see it as old knowledge? Even if it’s old school how do you make them see that it’s computer age that we are in? Listen to this, will you be glad that your children relate with you in future the way you are relating with your parent? Are you a Good Child? Think and act wisely.

TOPIC: WHO ARE YOU 2: Are You A Partner?

“19 Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to  ask him, “WHO ARE YOU?”

Bible Reading: Eccl. 4:9-12
“9 Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor.
10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.
11 Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm  alone?
12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Are you a partner in Love? As couples, are you really partners? What is the meaning of partner? It simply means, joint contribution, joint glory and shame, joint report, no segregation between you. Union is made to ease one another not to burden individuals. So many marriages today are filled with selfish desire with contribution. Partners are meant to compliment one another and not the other way round. No matter your individual achievement before marriage, it should shot up after marriage because two are better than one. Are you a real partner in that marriage?
King Solomon said, two are better because they are always there for one another. One lift the other when they fall. One fills the empty gap when it open, that is what a partner in marriage should be. Hope you are not a burden in that marriage? God was the originator of partner in marriage, He has a purpose for it and its clearly stated in our Bible reading today. Check yourself if you are in line with God’s plan in that marriage, Are you a Partner in that Home?
