TOPIC: PRINCIPLES FOR CHRISTIAN LIFE 1: Rejoice Always

Memory Verse: 1 Thess. 5:15
15 See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.

Bible Reading: 1 Thess. 5:18
16 Rejoice Always.
Christianity is not all about talk but of words (Declaration) and action (Faith). Our walk with God is faced with daily challenges and opposition no matter how righteous we are. But in the mist of it all God’s instructions and principle is that, we live by Faith and not by sight. For those situations are not to control us but to make us stronger in God, and the best thing to do In all is to “Rejoice Always” regardless of the situation. We are not to rejoice for the present predicament but for the Glory that will follow because those situations are called “light affliction” which will vanish with God in our side.
To Rejoice always is to see by Faith, talk by Faith and Act by Faith because God is with us. Whatever the situations might be, Rejoice in The Lord for they will be attended to.
Another reason is that, those situations has come to make us stronger and not weaker. God knows what we can bear and how long we can hold on and He will never allow us to be weary before the situations are attended to. In that situation you are, look up to God and Rejoice, for “This too will Soon Pass, and you will smile again”
Good Morning.
Happy Birthday to all celebrants of the day and Happy Wedding Anniversary to those celebrating today, May you experience God’s fruitfulness in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: IN THE WILDERNESS 14: There Is An End.

Memory Verse: Is. 43:18
“19 … I will even make a road in the wilderness, And rivers in the desert.”

Bible Reading: Joshua 5:10-12.
10 Now the children of Israel camped in Gilgal, and kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight on the plains of Jericho.
11  And they ate of the produce of the land on the day after the Passover, unleavened bread and  parched grain, on the very same day.
12 Then the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the produce of the land; and the children of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate the food  of the land of Canaan that year.
For everything under the sun, there is a beginning and an end, whatever has a start will surely stop, “… Weeping may endure for a night,  But joy comes in the morning, Ps. 30:5. May we all make it to the end in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. The affliction will end, the lack, delay, denial, frustration, barren, joblessness, waiting, rejection, enmity, sorrow, marriage challenges, they will end very so if you will not give up.
After forty years in the wilderness, the children of Israel stopped eating manna and started eating what they never planted. They ended their year of struggling and trials. They entered the promise land flowing with milk and honey, very soon, this shall be our portion in Jesus Precious name. God will perfect it in your life. He will make it real soonest that our joy will be full in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. There is an end to that wilderness in your life.
Good Morning.

TOPIC: IN THE WILDERNESS 13: BEWARE OF ACHAN

Memory Verse: Is. 43:18
“19 … I will even make a road in the wilderness, And rivers in the desert.”

Bible Reading: Joshua 7:10-11,20.
“10 So the LORD said to Joshua: “Get up! Why do you lie  thus on your face?
11 Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they  have also put it among their own stuff.”
“20 And Achan answered Joshua and said, “Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and this is what I have done:”
God doesn’t initiate  loss during the wilderness season, Ps. 34:19-20. He being with us is a prove of protection and preservation. Nothing should be lost as long as He is leading us through the wilderness. But we can experience losses when we tread the part of Achan in the wilderness. Who was Achan? He is one of the Israelites in the wilderness, who sinned against God and caused the death of thirty-six israelites by a small city called Ai. One person’s sin can cause lives of others in the wilderness. Before his sin was expose, thirty- six Israelite were dead, after it was expose, his family were stoned till death. Lives of innocent souls perished all because of one man’s sin. Beware of sin as you walk through that wilderness. Avoid going against God. Don’t be in a rush to make it or become great. Wait for your time. The season of wilderness will expire soon. We will all enter our Canaan land in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. Avoid sin by all means
Good Morning.

TOPIC: IN THE WILDERNESS 12: Be A Burden Lifter

Memory Verse: Is. 43:18
“19 … I will even make a road in the wilderness, And rivers in the desert.”

Bible Reading: Exo. 17:10-13.
“10 So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went  up to the top of the hill.
11 And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
12 But Moses’ hands   became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the  sun.
13 So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
The wilderness of life is full of diverse distractions,  Situations unprepared for, unknown attacks, ups and downs and many more crisis that can wear one out along  the journey. But no matter what the condition may be, make sure you are not a burden on others, strive to be a burden lifter and not a burden on  anyone. Yes, you will have need, yes, you may be down along the way but make sure you are not 100% a burden.
During the wilderness experience of the Israelite, the Amalekite stood before them for war. All the Israelite looked up to Moses for deliverance but Joshua, Aaron and Hur were ready to lift the burden off Moses. Joshua was instructed to war, Aaron and Hur stood by Moses to raise His hands for victory. They chose not to be a burden but a burden bearer, a helper to their leader. Don’t be the reason why your leader will be discourage. Be the reason why he will do more. You have a hand in the victory, so therefore, contribute your quota to your leader in that wilderness journey. God bless you.
Good Morning.

TOPIC: IN THE WILDERNESS 11: Leaders Can Be Changed

Memory Verse: Is. 43:18
“19 … I will even make a road in the wilderness, And rivers in the desert.”

Bible Reading: Joshua 1:1:3
“1 After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, it came to pass that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying:
2 “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.”
God changes everything but He, Himself, can’t be changed, He remains constant. He changes helpers at will. He changes channels of blessing. He changes ways because He has different purposes for everything and everyone. In the wilderness of life, God can decide to change the instrument He uses to lead you. He can replace that soul with a better or more rugged one, but that doesn’t change the place of wilderness. God can change the instrument leading you for many reasons such as: age, unfaithfulness, over familiarity with the leader, sin from the leader and/or fulfillment of his/her assignment to you, but get this, it’s going to work together for your good. That your mentor, parent or helper died while you are still in the wilderness doesn’t mean that’s the end, it’s signifies a new beginning in your journey. Don’t just give up, be sensitive to recognise the next leader, helper, mentor or boss to lead you through that wilderness. Moses was old, couple with the fact that, God said he wouldn’t enter the promise land, so God raised another leader in the place of Joshua. God can’t leave you stranded in that wilderness, He will always raise a replacement for you to get to your promise land. Be alert to recognise the next vessel for your next stage. God bless you.
Good Morning.

TOPIC: IN THE WILDERNESS 10: Total Obedient To God

Memory Verse: Is. 43:18
“19 … I will even make a road in the wilderness, And rivers in the desert.”

Bible Reading: Exo. 16:23-28
“23 Then he said to them, “This is what the LORD has said: ‘Tomorrow is Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the LORD. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will  boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.’ ”
24 So they laid it up till  morning, as Moses commanded; and it did not stink, nor were there any worms in it.
25 Then Moses said, “Eat that today, for today is a Sabbath to the LORD; today you will not find it in the field.
26 Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will be none.”
27 Now it happened that some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather, but they found none.
28 And the LORD said to Moses, “How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and My laws?
In the wilderness, God assigns one of His trusted Son or Daughter in human form to lead us through. Yours might be parent, friends, spouse, Men/Women of God, colleague or your boss, but God can’t lead you without a tutor in that wilderness. One of our challenge is the fact that, we do not recognise them. Many recognized them but do not obey them fully. When you refuse to follow those who knows the way, how will you go out of the wilderness? God needs our totality to lead us during the wilderness stage. Our memory Verse say, “I Will Even Make A Road In The Wilderness, And Rivers In The Desert.” It’s through His servant assigned to lead you, but how often do we obey those leaders of ours?  Do we choose when and what to obey? The children Israel doubted the instructions of Moses, which was God, and God was angry with them. When we refuse to obey the instructions of God, it’s prolongs our stay in the wilderness. My God will give us that needed grace to obey God on a daily bases through His guiding Angel around us in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. Be Obedient to instructions.
Good Morning.

TOPIC: IN THE WILDERNESS 9: Keep Serving.

Memory Verse: Is. 43:18
“19 … I will even make a road in the wilderness, And rivers in the desert.”

Bible Reading: Exo. 33:11
“11 So the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man  speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle.”
The wilderness of life shouldn’t stop our commitment to God no matter what. In that wilderness, don’t let the devil discourage you of service, your duty to God. Keep serving. We read about Caleb why he was privileged to enter the promise land, and we said because He has a different Spirit, what about Joshua who also entered, what was the criteria? It was service. Josuha was from the tribe of Ephraim not Judah nor Levi but he served God’s servant in the wilderness and this made him entered the promise land.
Zacharias and Elizabeth at old age, in the wilderness of barrenness, kept serving until God visited them. Abraham kept serving God directly until God granted Him his heart desires. Joseph was serving in the wilderness of prison until his service speak for him. Keep serving in that wilderness until God remembers you and take you to your promise land. I pray with you today, your service, in that wilderness of life, will be sufficient to take you to your promise land in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Good Morning.

TOPIC: IN THE WILDERNESS 8: A Different Spirit

Memory Verse: Is. 43:18
“19 … I will even make a road in the wilderness, And rivers in the desert.”

Bible Reading: Numb 14:24.
“24 But My servant  Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall  inherit it.”
The wilderness of Life can only be different for different people with different Spirit. What is this different spirit? This is the ability to see what God “Can and Will” do in a bad or fearful situations. The spirit that doesn’t follow the crowd to do and believe what they believed. The spirit that sees possibility regardless of the present situation. The Spirit that believes in the leader. A different Spirit was the reason for Caleb entering the land of Canaan. You can’t go far in life, business, marriage, walk with God without a different Spirit. The Spirit that see the ability of God above the ability of man. God said,
“24 But My servant  Caleb, because he has “A Different Spirit In Him And Has Followed Me Fully,” I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall  inherit it.
That situation is working on your Spirit, to discourage your courage but act like Caleb, He saw the giants, the sons of Anak but the Spirit of following God in him, said,
“8 If the LORD delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’
See the possibility not the impossibility. See reason why you will succeed not why you won’t. Be different from the crowd.
Good Morning.

TOPIC: IN THE WILDERNESS 7: Avoid Rebel Against Leaders

Memory Verse: Is. 43:18
“19 … I will even make a road in the wilderness, And rivers in the desert.”

Bible Reading: Numb 12:1-3
“1 Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had  married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman.
2 So they said, “Has the LORD indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?” And the LORD heard it.
3 (Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)”
One attitude that one need to avoid while in the wilderness is Rebelling against one’s leader. When someone is your Leader, Boss, Superior or Master, that person is not there because He/She is a perfect person without fault, but He/She has been chosen to lead you in one way or the other because God has in him/her what will take you to where God has predestined for you. Many times, those leaders do things that turns us off, get us angry but, God knows more than we see in them. We need to be careful not to rebel against them because God will stand by them against us.
Miriam was an elder sister to Moses but she rebel against Moses and God spoke and fought for Moses. Beware of standing against God through His appointed leaders over your life. They are to lead us through the wilderness for they know the path more than we do, so we need to be careful with how we deal with them. May we not stand against God through our leaders in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Good Morning.

TOPIC: IN THE WILDERNESS 6: Appreciate The Miracles

Memory Verse: Is. 43:18
“19 … I will even make a road in the wilderness, And rivers in the desert.”

Bible Reading: Exo. 14:11
“11 Then the LORD said to Moses: “How long will these people reject Me? And how long will they not believe Me, with all the signs which I have performed among  them?
Situations might be bad and terrible in that wilderness you find yourself presently, but one things is sure, you’ve not been consumed by it, Halleluyah. It’s time for us to see the good things the Lord is doing in our wilderness. it’s time to  show Him gratitude for every miracles He releases on us. One attitude that turns God off is ingratitude, and that was the greatest attitude of the Israelite In the wilderness. They easily forget the doings – miracles, acts and signs – of God in their mist and this made God angry. That situations is not as bad as we painted it. It isn’t the worst situation we’ve even been through. We just need to see through it and Thank God for:
1. Being alive
2. Being in our rightful senses.
3. Being complete the way God made us.
4. Still better than billions of people.
5. Having a relationship with God.
6. For that marriage, that work, that business, ministry, helpers around and not been left alone.
And many more as you can reason. God is still good despite the wilderness, show Him gratitude today and subdue your complains, fears and your past glory. Do not be like the Israelite that forgot the act of God.
Ps. 78:11,
“11 And forgot his  works, and his wonders that he had showed them.”
Be grateful in that wilderness.
Good Morning.
