TOPIC: SIGNS OF HIS COMING 8: “Gospel Preached Everywhere”

“12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.”

Bible Reading: Math. 24:14
“14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will  come.”
The coming of our Lord Jesus will be enhanced by the nations hearing the Gospel. The gospel will be preached throughout the whole world before the trumpet. Kingdoms and nations throughout all continent will hear about His coming, none will be able to deny hearing about His name, all the universe will hear His name and His coming, but it now depends on those who received the message. Are we spreading the Gospel everywhere we go? Do we make effort to speak to people about Christ? You don’t necessarily need to carry Bible around to be able to preach His coming, thank God for social media, just post your believe about Jesus and many will have access to it and you’ve preached about His coming. Your life, attitude and words are  medium of preaching the Gospel, so what are you preaching? Jesus is coming soon. Be active for Him.

Christians – Believers, should beware of fake jesus and ministers that are out to deceive many in the name of miracle and wealth, they are part of the signs Jesus gave about His coming. He said by their fruits we shall know them. Don’t be deceived by titles and mantles, make your Bible your focus and let Jesus lead you in the right path.

TOPIC: Wars And Rumours Of War
Text: Math. 24:6-7.
War is glaring everywhere across the nations. Rumours of war keep increasing day by day. Jesus said, this is a sign that the world is drawing  to an end and His coming is closer. Though, he said the end has not come yet but the beginning of the end. Be conscious of His coming. Don’t be carried away by the news but be focus on your walk with Christ. We will reign with him in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: FAMINE AND PESTILENCE.
Text: Math. 24:7-8
Several viruses and sicknesses have been showing up for the past Ten years. It kills and destroy the carriers, don’t be fret, it’s part of the signs of Jesus’ coming  back to carry home His saints. Your steadfastness in God is what preserves you from every pestilence. Famine is everywhere, what has been enough now becomes lacking, it’s a pointer to the end of the world. Don’t loose focus.

Topic: Tribulation for Believers.
Text: Math. 24:9.
Tribulation against Believers is one of the signs of His coming. Being hated for no reason ( as a Christian) is a prove you are serving the living God and await the coming of Jesus Christ. Just be focus and keep pleasing God in other to reign with Christ.

Topic: BETRAYER
Text: Math. 24:9
The fifth sign of His coming is Betrayal. You can’t stop others from betraying but you can prevent yourself from betraying others. It’s a sign of steadfastness in God. Don’t be carried away by being betrayed. Make His coming your focus.

Bible Reading: Math. 24:12-13
12 And because  lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.13 But he who endures to the end  shall be saved.”
Lawlessness is everywhere today, even in our homes, our worship places, our businesses, all relationship we are in, lawlessness is present like human and this has caused many to become cold in their walk with Christ. Are you not affected with lawlessness around you? Are you not a partaker of it?
David said in Ps. 37,
“1 Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb.
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.”
Don’t be carried away by lawlessness – wickedness, fraudulent attitude of men, these things has effect on your love for God. It makes you grow cold for God. It’s an instrument in the hand of the devil against believers and it’s also the sign of the coming of Christ, don’t be a victim. Be hot for God.

Bible Reading: Math. 24:9
“10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.
The fifth sign of His coming today is Betrayers. What do we mean by this? To disappoint ones trust in you, to let others down, to stab one behind, is there anyone who hasn’t found his/her self being betrayed? Those you trust and hold with high esteem still exposes your weaknesses and secrets to your enemies. Betrayer between spouse, parent and children, friends, colleague, even, between ministers of the Gospel, all are pointing to the end of the world. We all need to understand that Jesus has hinted us about all these in order to prepare for His coming. Don’t feel offended when you are betrayed, just remember that, Christ is closer than ever. May God help us set our eye on the right path and not be distracted by the gimmicks of the devil in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

“9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.”
The fourth sign is against the Christians, Believers. Hatred to those who are steadfast in their walk with God. When you answer a Christan name, you will be attacked, you will be rejected for the sake of Christ, is it not happening in our various places of works, community and even in families? Are Christians not being killed on daily basis for no tangible reasons? Are we not being criticized wherever we are? False allegations here and there, all for the sake of Jesus Name, but it’s all pointing to the second coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. It might seem so long and not real anymore but Jesus is returning to take His children Home, are you prepared? Rather than to defend what we believed many have denied Christ, forsook Him in order to live, where do you belong? Will you hold fort till Him comes back? May We stand till the end in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

“7 … And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
Jesus mentioned the third sign of His coming, there will be Famine and Pestilence in the world, are this not glaring in the world today? Even in the western world, pestilence and famine is beyond control. Different forms of viruses are been announced day in day out, they are the spoken words of Our Lord and saviour. He called them, “The Beginning of Sorrow”, is that not what it is presently? Nations lacking mineral resources, what is available is not enough to sustain them, sorrows every where on daily basis, these are not just leader issues, they are pointing us to the coming back of the Messiah. Are we being sensitive to all these? Do we even remember His promise of coming the second time? Father, Help me to be sensitive to the signs of your coming in your precious name, Amen.

“6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation will rise  against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. …”
The second sign given to us about the coming of Jesus Christ is ‘Wars between nations and Kingdoms’ which is on going presently if we’re very observant. The case of Russian and Ukraine, and the rumours surrounding it, says it might lead to the ‘Third World War’. Other nations threatened to join the war if some certain conditions are not met. This is a reminder of what Jesus prophesied. Jesus Is still coming. Although, He said, “The End Is Not Yet” but these things shows that the end is closer. Are you still in doubt about His second coming? He will come like a thief in the night. He’s coming might not be the way we expected, but He is more closer than ever. How are we living our lives, for God or for the world? We might think we still have enough time left which might not be so, walk righteously in order to reign with Christ when He arrives. Jesus is coming soon.

“4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed  that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
Christians – Believers, are more carried away by the pursuit of achievement, fame and being a celebrity, and has forgotten about our duty (preaching to lost soul) and the end of all things, The Rapture. Many has concluded that Jesus won’t be coming anymore all because, He is yet to come. Can we just imagine the rate of death around us daily? Can we think of the occurrences mentioned in the Bible that will preceed Jesus’ coming? We will check them one after the other. 
Jesus said, Deceivers will be much, can’t we see them in multitudes? Prophets who calls their selves Jesus, the Healer, the Almighty and divers name are everywhere which prove to us that, the coming back of the Son of God is closer than ever. Many prophet deceiving believers and many leaders with dubious acts here and there. Am glad to let you know that, these won’t stop till Jesus comes, because they’re signs of His coming. Are you ready? Have you given up on his coming? Don’t be deceived, He is Coming soon.

 … For The Joy Of The Lord Is Your Strength.”

Bible Reading: Jude 1:24-25
“24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present  you faultless Before the presence of His glory with Exceeding Joy,
25 To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty,  Dominion and power, i  Both now and forever.  Amen.”
It is my Prayer this morning that we will experience Exceeding Joy before the throne of God at the last day in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. This is the highest level of Joy and not on earth here but in heaven, when we meet with Christ. This joy can’t be quantified neither visualise but that is the Joy that all believer should look out for. When we overcome the trials, tribulations and challenges of the world and still make it  to be with God that Day, the Joy will be exceedingly great. Mind you, what we do now determines if we will partake of that Joy. If we will experience that Exceeding Joy we need to be experiencing the fullness of Joy by now on earth. How prepared are we for that day? Do we have any consideration for that day any more? Ain’t money and the things of this world becoming our main focus? It is the desire of our Lord Jesus that we be among those who will experience that Exceeding Joy, I pray we will not miss out that day in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. Exceeding Joy is for all believers who made it to God’s present, prepare to be there.

TOPIC: JOY OF THE LORD 5: Fullness of Joy By Asking In Jesus Name

Memory Verse: Neh. 8:10.
 … For The Joy Of The Lord Is Your Strength.”

Bible Reading: John 16:23-24
“23 “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. 
24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”
Fullness of Joy by asking in the name of Jesus. Yesterday, i said, God’s intention is for us to enjoy Fullness of Joy as His sons and daughters. As a father makes his children enjoy everything He has, so much more than that is what God wish for us. Jesus was speaking to His disciples, that their joy will be full if they will ask anything in His name. As believers of Christ, not just Christians, when we ask God for our rights in the name Jesus, His purpose is to fill our heart with Joy by granting to us our requests. Asking as a son is different from asking as a slave. Jesus was speaking to his disciples not just the unbelievers, the crowd around Him, but to those who accepted Him as Lord and Saviour. Your joy can be full if you will ask (in Jesus name) from God, not asking in God’s name, father’s name or any Minister’s name but in the name of Jesus, that’s where Fullness of Joy is.
In whose name do you ask God for your request? Ask in “Jesus Name” and your Joy will be full.
