TOPIC: WHY PRAISING GOD 3?: He Saved Us From Trouble

Memory Verse: 1 Thess. 5:18.
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Ps. 34:17
“17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.”
No matter how righteous and faithful we are, we’ve gone through different troubles this year. Trouble is not personified and no one is exempted, It’s for everyone, but not everybody do escape from it. There are troubles here and there, every night and day, but God, in His infinite Mercy, delivered us from all our troubles, we need to give Him praise. Trouble is in sizes and levels, regardless of the levels of your trouble, you’ve been escaping. I pray with you today, that trouble that seems inseparable from your life, as you give God praise this season, they shall be found no more In Jesus Mighty name. You will escape from that trouble again.
Nevertheless, give God praise for the troubles He has delivered you from in time past. Also remember that, the righteous need to cry before God deliver him/her from that trouble. Righteousness is not a criteria to be exempted from trouble but a criteria to be heard by God. So, we need to keep crying to Him, no matter our righteousness, to deliver us. But first of all, praise Him for delivering you from the troubles of the past months. He is a faithful God who delivers us from all known and unknown troubles.
Good Morning.

TOPIC: WHY PRAISING GOD 2?: No Shame

Memory Verse: 1 Thess. 5:18.
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Ps. 34:5
“5 They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.”
One of the reasons why we should also  Praise God this season is the fact that, The Lord rescued us from every forms of shame, home and abroad. He delivered us from situations that would have expose our weaknesses and bring reproach to the name of God. This year has been a year where needs rose up in almost 400% compared to other years. The first thing that easily attract shame is debt. God delivered many of us in this area and made all important needs met at the right time. Many would have experienced shame in their homes, work place, environment or over their children one way or the other, but the Lord came for our rescue and took every shame away, this is enough reason to give God Praise.
The psalmist said, “They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.”
I will like to paraphrase it this way, “We looked to Him and were radiant, And our faces were not ashamed. How many times have you asked God to intervene in those situations that would have attracted reproach and God did showed up? He showed up for us beyond what men could do. He gave us double honour in the place of shame, He deserve all our Praises today and forever more. This is what I know and still believe, He will still not put us to Shame before the year runs out in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. For the shame the Lord has wiped away in your life this year, God deserve your highest Praise.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 51, Day 1,  Sunday, 19th December 2021.

TOPIC: WHY PRAISING GOD 1: For Life

Memory Verse: 1 Thess. 5:18.
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Is. 38:18-19.
“18 For Sheol cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You;  Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your truth.
19 The living, the living man, he shall praise You, As I do this day; The father shall make known Your truth to the children.”
This week, is the second to the last week of the Year 2021. Congratulations for making it here. It is a great thing that we are alive and healthy. Can we think back, as many as we can remember, that made it to this year but couldn’t make it to this time? Was it their wickedness or foolishness? Was it hatred from God or forgetfulness from God’s side? None of the above, it’s only God’s mercy that speaks for us all. Do you know God love them as He loved you? Many even served God more than we do, but “God’s Mercy kept us, so we won’t let go”.
The most important reason for Praising God is that we are alive, we are not in the grave neither are we missing nor incarcerated. The reason why you have problems is because you are a living being, the dead don’t feel trouble or problem. So, your present situation is not a reason for you not to praise God
wholeheartedly. You may be complaining about money, cloth, food, shelter or spouse, it’s a sign that you are alive, don’t let that deterred you from thanking God. As a matter of fact, choose to praise God for the remaining days of the year and see what the Lord is capable of doing in your life. For every complain, give God Praise. For every needs, give Him thanks. For all things appreciate Him, above all, that you are alive, tell Him, Lord I Praise you.
Good Morning.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 50, Day 7,  Saturday, 18th December 2021.

TOPIC: WHEN TO PRAISE GOD 7: When Nothing Works.

Memory Verse: 1 Thess. 5:18.
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Habb. 3:17-19.
“17 Though the fig tree may not blossom,  Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls—
18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
19 The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills. To the Chief Musician. With my stringed instruments.
Praising God should always be our way of life. God deserve our praises no matter what we are faced with. One of the most difficult situation to Praise God in is when things aren’t working at all. When all effort proved aborted, when harvest seems to be wasted. This time, one should find the strength to Praise God. When you feel like the world is against you, that your hope is crumbling, still you need to Praise God. Praising God is not accepting your condition but handing over, everything to God totally.
Prophet Habakkuk was analysing the worst situation that could ever happen to Him. As a farmer who has sown and planted seeds, if at harvest time he received nothing, he said, “He will still rejoice in the Lord.” When things doesn’t go our way, it’s the best time to praise God, to rejoice in the salvation of our Lord, because He will always have a way to handle our situation. When things are not working, Praise God for who He is and not because of your problem. Remember, giving God thanks and Praise is God’s command, He said,
“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thess. 5:18
Giving thanks and praising God is the will of God for us always. You have no reason not to give God Praise. Give Him the Praise He’s due of.
Good Morning.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 50, Day 6,  Friday, 17th December 2021.

TOPIC: WHEN TO PRAISE GOD 6: When You Have Little.

Memory Verse: 1 Thess. 5:18.
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Math 15:32-39
“32 Now Jesus called His disciples to  Himself and said, “I have compassion on the multitude,  because they have now continued with Me three days and have nothing to eat. And I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.”
33 Then His disciples said to Him, “Where could we get enough bread in the wilderness to fill such a great multitude?”
34 Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do  you have?” And they said, “Seven, and a few little fish.”
35 So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.
36 And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples   gave to the multitude.
37 So they all ate and  were filled, and they took up seven large baskets full of the fragments that were left.
38 Now those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children.
39 And He sent away the multitude, got into the boat, and came to the region of Magdala.”
Many times we found ourselves complaining and grumbling not because of lack, but because of insufficiency. Not having at all is different from having but not enough. We are always carried away by the fact that it’s not up to what we needed at that present time, forgetting that many still strive and struggle to get what we have. May I tell you this morning, the season of littleness is a season to Praise God. It’s a season to look up to heaven and bless God for the available. It’s a time to thank God with what you have and use it the way it is.
Jesus understood His Father so well that, wherever things are insufficient, He lifts up His voice to Praise God for what is present. When He was about to feed Four Thousand people with “Seven loaves and a few little fish,” He refuse to see the littleness in it, rather He was focused on the Sufficiency of His Father in heaven.
”36 And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples   gave to the multitude.”
All that Jesus needed to do was to give thanks to His Father, He gave God the praise for the sufficiency of what is present. That you don’t have enough is not a reason to complain or be sad at all. Give God Praise in that situations, Thank Him for making what you have available and move on to use it to His Glory. After the praise, the insufficient becames sufficient and there was still left over. God can work tremendously in us if we will learn to give Him Praise in any situation we are. Stop looking at the incompleteness, Praise God for the available and He will take over from there.
Good Morning.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 50, Day 5,  Thursday, 16th December 2021.

TOPIC: WHEN TO PRAISE GOD 5: When God Says It.

Memory Verse: 1 Thess. 5:18.
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Joshua  6:5 & 20.
“5 It shall come to pass, when they  make a long blast with the ram’s horn,  and  when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all  the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.”
” 20 So the people shouted when  the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the  people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall  fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.”
There are times God request us to give Him praise even before He gives us victory. He might lay it in our spirit or through His servant, that we should praise Him. In such time, there is a miracle coming our way for sure that the Lord has prepared, just Praise Him. We might be feeling this uncontrollable joy within and songs of praise begin to flow within and out of us, i’m telling you, God is working on your behalf and He is requesting the praise before the arrival of the victory.
He told Joshua, you will need to praise me with your shout at the seventh day, then the city will be yours. The shout of Joy, celebration and testimony will not seize in our homes in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. Many times He demand our praises for unseen battles and unseen escapes which He has done. When people tells you, just Praise God, please don’t joke with it, He is sending that person to let you know that He (God), needs your praise. You might be reading His word and you keep reading the passage of praise, pick it up and praise him for the Hosts of Heaven are doing something great for you. So, God can request us to praise Him, all we need is to be sensitive to know and do as He says.
Good morning.

TOPIC: WHEN TO PRAISE GOD 4: When God Showed Up For You.

Memory Verse: 1 Thess. 5:18.
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Ex. 15:20-21.
20 Then Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took the timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with  dances.
21 And Miriam answered them: “Sing to the LORD, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!”
When God showed up for you, you need to remember to give Him praise. When that promotion comes in, you need to give God Praise. When the expected spouse comes your way, it’s not by waiting or by beauty, the Praises belongs to God. For every breakthrough and escapes in life, God owns the Praise not your experience nor you intelligence, it’s God behind the scene.
The children of God saw the biggest miracle for the first time in their life time, the Red Sea becoming an express way for them, How I wish I was there to behold the scene. They went through dried land under the water but it was unfortunate for the Egyptian who ended up In the same sea. When God rescued you from that attack, envy or accident, that is when to also give him Praise. Many ascribed the Praise to smartness and knowledge, No, God owns the Praise. So, you need to give God praises for every success in life. Every morning is a new day to Praise God. I hope you are giving Him the Praise right now, Please do, because for you reading this devotional with your eyes intact, God is to be Praise.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 50, Day 3,  Tuesday, 14th December 2021.

TOPIC: WHEN TO PRAISE GOD 3: When You Need His Voice

Memory Verse: 1 Thess. 5:18.
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: 2 Kings 3:14-17.
14 And Elisha said, “ As the LORD of hosts lives, before whom I stand, surely were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat king of  Judah, I would not look at you, nor see you.
15 But now bring me a musician.” Then it happened, when the musician played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him.
16  And he said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘Make this valley full of ditches.’
17 For thus says the LORD: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’”
The Voice of God is the only solution to all forms of confusion in life. When God speaks, it brings light to the darkness. It’s pave way where there seems to be blockage. So, the voice of the Lord is important in all ramification because, He speaks of the reality. This voice of God can be attracted by Praising God. When you give God a genuine and heartfelt praises, He speaks into your situation.
This was the case with Prophet Elisha and the two Kings who came to him for enquires. Elisha made it known that, hearing God’s voice, we need to give Him Praises that will lift Him up from His throne in order to attend to us. When situations are clouded and darkened, all we need do is to bring sacrifice of Praises to God, to worship and Honour Him with our mouth from our heart, then, He speaks His mind to us. Do you need to Hear God speak to you? Give Him praise wholehearted and He will attend to your request. As you find time to praise God this December, His voice will not be scares for you in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. Praise Him to hear His voice.
Good morning.

TOPIC: WHEN TO PRAISE GOD 1: When Times Are Hard

Memory Verse: 1 Thess. 5:18.
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Acts 16:20-26
“20 And they brought them to the ymagistrates, and said, “These men, being Jews, exceedingly  trouble our city;
21 and they teach customs which are not lawful for us, being Romans, to  receive or observe.”
22 Then the multitude rose up together against them; and the magistrates tore off their clothes and commanded them to  be beaten with rods.
23 And when they had laid many stripes on them, they threw them into prison, commanding the jailer to keep them  securely.
24 Having received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks.
25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the  prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.”
Hard times are real and everyone need to go through it, because going through it, is when our best is produced. Hard time leads to hard decision, hard risk and many other steps which may be good or bad, but that is the best time to Praise God. When things are hard and you don’t know the way out, just start by giving God His praise. Open your mouth and sing His praise not minding the season you are.
Paul and Silas  were in a tight corner, locked up in the prison, with chains in their hands and feet, what a bad time to praise God? They were suppose to be thinking of how they will be rescued the next morning, but they rather sing the praise of God. They began to lift their voices up to God, declaring His praise and praying all together. And in no time, they overcame the hard time, they became the sought out for by the prison warder. Don’t choose to do what the devil wants you to do, do what God will want you do. Declare His praise in the midst of that hardship. Praise Him as if all is well, and all will be well at the end of it all. Can you make today a day of praise not thinking of the situations you are in? When times are hard, it’s a good time to praise God totally.
Good Morning.

TOPIC: WHEN TO PRAISE GOD 1: When Confuse Of God’s Instruction.

Memory Verse: 1 Thess. 5:18.
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: 2 Chronic. 20:14-19.
“13 Now all Judah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children, stood before the LORD.
14 Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the  assembly.
15 And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the LORD to  you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours,  but God’s.
16 Tomorrow go down against them. They will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the brook  before the Wilderness of Jeruel.
17 You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not  fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the LORD is with you.”
18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with  his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the LORD, worshiping the LORD.
19 Then the Levites  of the children of the Kohathites and of the  children of the Korahites stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with voices loud and high.”
Normally, Christians Praises God when things are good and moving in line with their plans, but that shouldn’t be the case. When God gives you hard instructions what do you do in return? When God ask you to do the foolish things, how do you react? Brethren, that is when we need to praise God the best. That’s when our praise will be noted and recognized by God.
Behold, there was war before the whole country. The king, the lowly, the High, the youth, children and adult were disturbed about what they were seeing and God said, “Go out and meet with them tomorrow at the valley for battle but you wouldn’t need to fight, you will just hold your peace and see the salvation of the Lord. Note this, God never told them to praise or thank Him at that moment. But that was the moment of God’s Praise. When you are confuse of God’s instructions, give Him the praise. When His instructions looks stupid, Give Him Praise. When He gives a contrary directives give Him the Praise. This is when to praise God, not when you can comprehended His way. Are you in that shoe today? Start giving God praise because He’s never out of point, he always know what He is doing.
Good Morning.
