Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 52, Day 5, Thursday, 30th December 2021. TOPIC: HOW HAS BEEN THE YEAR?

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 52, Day 5,  Thursday, 30th December 2021.

TOPIC: HOW HAS BEEN THE YEAR? Are You Prepared For Year 2021?

Memory Verse: Eccl. 7:8
“The end of a thing is better than its  beginning; The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.”

Bible Reading: Hab. 2:2-4
2 Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision  And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time;  But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
4 “Behold the proud,  His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.”
We thank God for the end of the year 2021. God has been faithful and that’s why we are alive to see this day. He preserved and protected us and all ours, far and near, regardless of our sinful ways. He stood by us at every point in time when the devil and his agents rises against us. To God alone be the Glory forever more, Halleluyah.
Today, I want to encourage us about our preparation for the year 2022. How prepared are you? Are you still murmuring and blaming someone for the little achievement in the year 2021? I think our energy should be focus on the coming year. What do i mean? It’s time to write your desires about the coming year. How you want the year to look like at work, home, family and your walk with Christ. Those dreams you want God to help you achieve, you need to write them out.
The Lord told Prophet Habakkuk to pen down what He is about to say to him. He called it a vision to come. With this in mind, we can also pen down our vision for the coming year, how we want the year to be for us. Writing down our desires will help us receive direction from God on what to do and what not to do in the coming year. It will also help us to run the year effectively. God told the prophet, the vision may be delayed but will surely come to pass. Start preparing for the year before entering into it. Give God a detail of your desire for the coming year but let God’s will guides your planning because, He will not support what will never benefited Him in your life. Think about His will for your life and pen down how to work them out in the coming year. God bless you.
Good morning.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 52, Day 4, Wednesday, 29th December 2021. TOPIC: HOW HAS BEEN THE YEAR?

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 52, Day 4,  Wednesday, 29th December 2021.

TOPIC: HOW HAS BEEN THE YEAR? Do You Need To Forgive Someone?

Memory Verse: Eccl. 7:8
“The end of a thing is better than its  beginning; The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.”

Bible Reading: Math. 18:34-35
34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the  torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.
35 “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his  brother his trespasses.”
There can’t be a day without an offence or hurt from people around us. Many we depended on, will disappoint us when we needed them most. They might even take advantage of us by stabbing us behind and such other attitude of men which might make us decide not to forgive or forget their actions. As the year is running out, we need to have a rethink on those who have hurt us, both intentionally and non intentionally. We need to let them go and free them from our heart in order to enjoy God’s forgiveness. To forgive others is not that easy but it’s the best way to enjoy what God has in stock for us.
Our Bible reading today, talks about the servant whom his master forgives of his huge debt and made him go free but he went around to threaten a fellow servant who owe him a little debt and dragging him to be locked up in prison for not paying up his debt. This caught the attention of other servants and reported the issue to the master who sent for him, tortured and locked him up also. Jesus said if we can’t forgive men of their debt our heavenly Father won’t forgive our sins either. So, when we forgive those who hurt and treat us badly we are creating an avenue for our sins to be forgiven also. Those whom you hold grudges against and vowed not to let go of their wrongs, you need to forgive for you to also receive God’s forgiveness. Forgiveness can hold you ransom and deny you your blessings while the other party will be enjoying the Grace of God more than you.
Math. 6:14-15 says,
“14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father  forgive your trespasses.”
As we move towards the new year, it will be better to drop everything that can hold us down from enjoying God’s blessings. Have a thorough rethink and forgive others to enjoy God’s forgiveness. May God help us to let go off other’s hurt in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
Good Morning.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 52, Day 3, Tuesday, 28th December 2021. TOPIC: HOW AS BEEN THE YEAR?

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 52, Day 3,  Tuesday, 28th December 2021.

TOPIC: HOW AS BEEN THE YEAR? Were You A Blessing Or A Burden?

Memory Verse: Eccl. 7:8
“The end of a thing  is better than its  beginning; The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.”

Bible Reading: Gal. 6:10
“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the  household of faith.”
The year 2021 has been a year with different phases of challenges. It has been a year with ups and downs, insufficiency, lacks here and there and many situations that one never expected in the nation. It has been a year where the mighty are failing, where the lowly are more suppressed, many lost their jobs and valuable things. Also, it has been a year where many are been blessed and lifted to high places. Many would even love to pray for similar year again if possible. But this same year, is an opportunity to be a blessing and give a helping hand to others. It’s a year to sow seeds, affect lives positively and relieve burdens. Many hope wouldn’t have been dashed if someone have attended to them. Little help were needed from you this year, were you able to render them? Some had looked up to you for assistance, were you able to render the assistance?
Apostle Paul speaking to the Galatians, said,
“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the  household of faith.”
How many people felt or enjoyed good from you this year? Were you able to utilize the opportunities you had this year to better the lives of others? Listen to me, God always make others live through us so we can also live through them later in life. When we stop others from moving ahead, we’ve succeeded in creating a blockage on our path in life. How many has been able to grow through you this year? How many were able to bless God on your behalf this year? You still have some days to go, it’s not too late. You can still be a blessing, lift burdens and put a stop to other’s challenges. God still have plans to help others through you this year. Give out to the needy, reach out to the broken hearted, be the solution that others needs and God will be happy you did. Sow those seeds before the years runs out. God bless you.
Good Morning

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 52, Day 2, Monday, 27th December 2021. TOPIC: HOW AS BEEN THE YEAR 2?

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 52, Day 2,  Monday, 27th December 2021.

TOPIC: HOW AS BEEN THE YEAR? Where Have You Missed It?

Memory Verse: Eccl. 7:8
“The end of a thing  is better than its  beginning; The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.”

Bible Reading: Gen. 28;6-9.
“6 Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him away to Padan Aram to take himself a wife from there, and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, “You shall not take a  wife from the daughters of Canaan,”
7 and that Jacob had obeyed his father and his mother and had gone to Padan Aram.
8 Also Esau saw that  the daughters of Canaan did not please his father Isaac.
9 So Esau went to Ishmael and took Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife in addition to the wives he had.
The end of a thing is always better than the beginning thereof. Most times we made some wrong decisions that cost us lifetime progress. We do things that separate us from our destiny. We need to identify where we got it all wrong. Where have you missed it this year? What have you done this year that need to be redo? What are those steps that affected your life this year? What are those attitude that has dragged you backward? We all need to have a thorough thinking before we can make the next year better than this year. There’s room for amendment if we can face it rightly. If we can think on how we got it wrong we can do it better then.
Esau later discovered that He married from the wrong tribe that His parent were not happy with. He traced his foot steps backward and find a redress on the wrong decision. He was ready to right his wrong decision and he did. Where have we wronged our God, parent, spouse, colleagues or friends this year that has stampeded our progress? We need to identify it and make the necessary correction. I pray this morning, may we all recognise and recover all our loses this year in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 52, Day 1,  Sunday, 26th December 2021.

TOPIC: HOW AS BEEN THE YEAR? What Have You Learned Newly?

Memory Verse: Eccl. 7:8
“The end of a thing  is better than its  beginning; The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.”

Bible Reading: John 8:32
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
There are always two seasons in life. They may be categorized with different names but still it ends up in two. Season of good and bad, ups and down season, surplus and lack season, or hard times and easy times. These season is common for everyone and we all have to go through it. The most surprising thing about the season is that, you can find yourself in the two seasons at the same time but in different areas of life. That is why you find people enjoying the good season of wealth but lack the good season of marriage. Many have the right partner in life but lack a good job. Many have good job but lacked the peace of mind. We all have these seasons going on for us at the same time but in different aspect.
This is my focus this morning, every season has a lesson to learn, yes, every season come with a  lesson. The year 2021 is rounding up gradually, with different season for everyone of us, what have you learnt this year? What have you discovered you can do better? What are those ways of life you’ve seen that you need to change in your life? You should have discovered how to handle people better, understand other’s principle and communicate better. These and more are lessons that were available for everyone of us this year. You should have  known the truth and should be able to apply it better. The Lord enable us in Jesus name, Amen.
Good Morning.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 51, Day 7, Saturday, 25th December 2021. TOPIC: WHY PRAISING GOD 7?:

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 51, Day 7,  Saturday, 25th December 2021.

TOPIC: WHY PRAISING GOD 7?: Because He Is A Good God

Memory Verse: 1 Thess. 5:18.
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Ps. 136:1-9.
“1 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy  endures forever.
2 Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever.
3 Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords! For His mercy endures forever:
4 To Him who alone does great wonders, For His mercy endures forever;
5 To Him who by wisdom made the heavens, For His mercy endures forever;
6 To Him who laid out the earth above the waters, For His mercy endures forever;
7 To Him who made great lights, For His mercy endures forever,
8 The sun to rule by day, For His mercy endures forever;
9 The moon and stars to rule by night, For His mercy endures forever.”
We praise God for He is consistently Good  and His Mercy endures forever and ever. The praise of God is nonnegotiable. It should be a way of life for everyone especially for all believers. God’s praise shouldn’t be focused only on when He does mighty things for us. When you think through, you will discover that, what the Lord does daily outweigh what we celebrate most times.  We enjoy the sun for free, oxygen and even freedom of movement, the weather, breathe, above all, He gave us His son to return us back to Him. God gives to us freely all that pertain to life.
Today, being the last Saturday of the year, find time to dance and celebrate God’s faithfulness over your life till date. Give him the best of your praise. Sing, shout and declare His faithfulness. No one deserve or can request it of you, it all belongs to God.
Father, we Praise and Worship you today. You’ve done more than enough for us this year, we’ve come to return the Praise to you alone. Thank you for being our God always, in Jesus Mighty name we have given thanks, Amen.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 51, Day 6, Friday, 24th December 2021. TOPIC: WHY PRAISING GOD 5?:

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 51, Day 6,  Friday, 24th December 2021.

TOPIC: WHY PRAISING GOD 5?: For Your Household.

Memory Verse: 1 Thess. 5:18.
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Job 1:9-10.
“9 So Satan answered the LORD and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing?
10 Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has  on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.”
God deserve our full praise always and for ever more. He didn’t just take care of us individually but including our household: our relatives, loved ones and our immediate family. God has taken care of everyone that could cause us sorrow, even when you are not happy with them, He keeps watching over them on your behalf. You’ve never had reason to mourn about your household, Give God the Praise as long as you can because He is expecting your praises.
Satan said to God, haven’t you built an edge round about His household and blesses what He does? Likewise, the devil is angry for not making you weep concerning any of your household member far and near. He’s not happy that God made your household a sign and wonder this year. The devil is not happy that your household is seated around your table. He feels insulted that we are all being kept till date without evil report. Can you just lift up your voice and begin to thank God for your household members? God had taken care of them same way He took care of you. Give Him your best praises today. God has been good to our families. He is worthy of our Praise always and forever, Amen.
Good Morning.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 51, Day 5,  Thursday, 23th December 2021.

TOPIC: WHY PRAISING GOD 5?: Protection From Evil

Memory Verse: 1 Thess. 5:18.
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Ps. 91:10-12
“10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.”
Seeing Three Hundred and Fifty Seven (357) days of the year without evil is not a light matter. God kept watch over us again and again without allowing the devil to take any advantage of us. Many have different forms of protection, they either carried or tied around day and night but still couldn’t escape the evil of the day.
Ephesians 5:16, says, “16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Despite the evils of the days, God protected us. Evil of the day includes, evil at home – in the day and in the night. Evil at work, evil on the road. Unknown attacks here and there. Evil from friends and enemy, evil as a result of envy, enmity from family, even in the church, evil coming from comparison and jealous: from all these evil, God has protected our homes, we are never a victim this year. He is worthy of all our praises. No breaking in and breaking out in our dwelling places. Our children are intact, safe, sound and healthy, these are reasons why He deserves our praises. I pray with you this morning, may we not become an ingrate in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. We need to praise God for the protection we’ve enjoyed this year, don’t be an ingrate, be grateful.
Good Morning.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 51, Day 4,  Wednesday, 22th December 2021.

TOPIC: WHY PRAISING GOD 4?: He Always Make Provision.

Memory Verse: 1 Thess. 5:18.
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Ps. 34:10.
“10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.”
God, the great provider, need to be praise for His daily provisions in our lives. He meets all our needs. He gives to us beyond our request. Looking at the situation of the country, He never allowed us go hunger or lived by begging, He is the Jehovah Jireh. Those who trust in Him never lack good things, He makes every needs available at the right time. This year, with the level of hardship across the country, God rules over all His children by seeing to their needs. Only God deserve our praises beyond measures.
With the prices of everything jumping up on a daily bases, God has never denied us His sustenance. Good things has he not withheld form us. Can we quantify what we’ve spent this year? Can we be specific how we got all our needs met? Is our effort, this year, equal to what we’ve enjoyed in our different Homes? The faithful God is behind all these, so therefore, celebrate God’s provision through out this year in your life. Don’t focus on what is yet to be met, focus on what He has done for your household and give Him the Highest praise this morning.
“But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.”
Remember, the good things He made available is what is sustaining us till date, appreciate Him today.
Good Morning.
