TOPIC: “GOD WITH US” 5: Preach The Word

Memory Verse: Math. 1:23,
23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

Bible Reading: Math. 28:19-20
“19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the  Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  Amen.”
This is one of the passages we quote out of context. We only extract what we want from it and leave the rest. Yes, God has promised to be with us all the way in our journey. When we received Jesus into our lives, new things begin to unfold and we feel that’s all, No, that’s not all. There is assignment for every believer who chooses to retain God’s presence continuously.
From this passage of the Bible, Jesus was assuring us of His presence if we will go out to preach His Gospel, to speak to others about Him. He has sent us to preach the Gospel from nation to nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. We are to make disciples after Him, then, will He stand right beside us as we witness about Him. To speak to others about Christ retains His presence around us.
Now, you want the presence of God to abide with you everywhere you are, then preach the Gospel of Jesus and He will never leave nor forsake you. He will speak, fight and defend us from every evil. Make Him known to those that are yet to follow Him. Let your way of life preach the Gospel of Jesus. He as promise, if we will do this, He will be with us till the end of the world. May we have the courage to retain God’s presence through preaching of His word in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: “GOD WITH US” 4: AVOID SIN

Memory Verse: Math. 1:23,
23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

Bible Reading: Isaiah 59:1-2
“1 Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened,  That it cannot save;  Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.
2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden  His face from you, So that He will not hear.”
The first thing that separates God from us is sin, iniquity, transgression. God cannot behold sin, He can’t cope with sinners. Believers with sin stands as a bad odour to God. When we live in sin we’ve successfully separated ourselves from God because He can’t walk with sinner. Now, get this from me, sin doesn’t make God kills one instantly or send you away from Himself, No, you only succeeded in separating yourself from God. But God is watching if you will turn away from such sins.
When we live in sin our voices becomes abomination to Him. Our cry won’t attract his compassion. Still, He is with us but we are far from Him. Every benefit that makes us a son to Him is avoided. We live as a slave to Him and not as a legitimate child. During this period, the devil can taken advantage of us, robbed us of our right in God to the extent of stealing, destroying and killing our soul, John 10:10, still, God will be watching from afar if we will confess our sins and return to Him. He is always willingly to forgive our sins when we confess them.
Are you going through any form of sickness afflicted by the devil or his agent? Seek the face of God and ask for forgiveness of any sin you’ve committed. Cry to God for His mercy if there is any sin you’ve found undetachable in your life.
Acts 3:19,
“19  Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”
Your sins can separate you from God, find redress today and get connected back to God. He is waiting to be with you always.

TOPIC: “GOD WITH US” 3: No losses

Memory Verse: Math. 1:23,
23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

Bible Reading: Psalms 34:17-20
”17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.
20 He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken.
Being righteous is attracting opposition to oneself, but the joy of it all is that, God will always be with us. He will keep watch over us. The numbers of our challenges doesn’t matter, what’s important is who is with us in that situation. God’s presence might not be seen, felt or noticed around one but He has promised to always be with us and He will never change or fail His word.
Many will envy you in everything you do because of the presence of God around you that others can’t see, feel or comprehend. Many forms of attack, reproach, denials of your right all because of God’s presence. This is the assurance I have for you, You will come out stronger in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. Our Bible reading today says, many are the affliction of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all. All His bones are intact after the difficulties. Since the Lord is with us, no losses,  in Jesus Mighty name. He will not leave us alone nor deny us the needed help at all time.
You will overcome in Jesus Mighty name, you will prevail come what may, you will not be defeated by the power in the name of Jesus because God is with you always.

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel
Week 39, Day 2,
Monday, 27th September 2021.

TOPIC: “GOD WITH US” 2: He Remains With Us

Memory Verse: Math. 1:23,
23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

Bible Reading: Is. 43:2
“When you pass through the waters, I  will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.”
The Lord has promised us His presence in any situation we find ourselves. He made it known that, no situation can separate Him from us. The mentality of being alone during difficult times is the device of the devil against our faith. If God is no more with us with, the occurrences around us, we wouldn’t have just died but we could disappear somehow, because, the devil meant business in destroying us, but God is with us all the way.
In Isaiah chapter 43, the Lord was speaking of bringing the exile back to Jerusalem, and he promised to be with them. He categorically mentioned what they may/will come across while going back to their inheritance. God is telling us indirectly that, there will be waters, not just water but waters, Rivers, in plural also, fire will appear, but our anchor should be, God will see us through it. God will walk with us all the way. He walked with the Israelite through the Red Sea, through Jordan, the Hebrew boys went through the fire and came out untouched, that is what God is says to us. It doesn’t matter what your boss is bent on doing to you, the situation of your marriage looks like those that has failed, joblessness, childlessness, rejected, abandoned, cast away, perpetual poverty, God is saying, “I am with you”, we are together in it. Don’t feel that is the end. Be confident that the pain will soon end. God is with you.
You might say I don’t understand, Yes, I don’t. Yes, I’m not the one going through it, but this I know, What God says is what He is working on. He said, i am with you. Speak to Him in that condition, not grudgingly, but as a son will speak to His Father who is ready to hear him. As a daughter whom her mother crave to listen to. May He strengthen you to the end, it will end in the praise of God for you in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: “GOD WITH US” 1: Know This For Sure

Memory Verse: Math. 1:23,
23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

Bible Reading: Is. 43:2
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.”
Am here to assure you this week that, God is with you. God is right beside you. He is the Over All God who lives everywhere at every time. God’s presence is not the absence of challenges, difficulties, enmity or lack, No, God’s presence is the sustaining strength during those situations.
When Jesus was sent to the world, He was specifically given a name from above, to be above situation, in order to subdue others names and to show the presence of God with us – Immanuel. Immanuel simply means, “God With Us”, this is an Indication to show how God is always ready to be with us all the way. This is my point today, if you have Jesus in you, you have God with you always. If you have renounce other gods and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour, God is always with you because, Jesus’ name is Immanuel, everyone who received Him received Immanuel, and the name Immanuel answers to them also.
I want you to have this mentality from today on and make the confession that, God is With Me. I have Jesus Christ as my saviour, and He is Immanuel, so therefore, what happens to Jesus happens to me, I am Immanuel, God is always with me. I am secured in Jesus whom God resides with. Hallelujah.
Father, thank for being with me always. I realize that you’ve been with me all the way and that is why am alive today. I have the Immanuel with me, so You are with me, thank you father, In Jesus Mighty name I have prayed Amen.

TOPIC: GOD OF DIVERSE WAYS 7: His Ways Higher Than Ours

Memory Verse: Is. 43:15-16
“15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King.”
16 Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea And a path through the mighty waters.”

Bible Reading: Is. 55:8-9
“8 “For My thoughts  are not your thoughts,  Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.  9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways,  And My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Today, being the final day on this topic, “GOD OF DIVERSE WAYS”, I will like us to know that, His ways are always far better than our planned ways. No matter how we strategize, our ways can’t be better than His Ways. He is the way maker, any way He doesn’t create can’t be made. So, His ways are far better than our ways. I see God making a way for you where you least expected and where you expected it in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
He made a way to sustain the widow of Zarephat, when her last meal was all she had. She sacrificed the meal to open a ware house of food for herself. Before God makes a way you have a commitment to make. When you are committed to God with whatever He requests from you, you are compelling God to open a way beyond your expectation. Before God opens a way beyond your request He will always demand for your most valued treasure, your last meal, your Isaac, your faith, your time and your “you”. When you are ready to give Him what He asks, you are ready for a higher way of blessing. What are you laying at His feet to make that high way of miracle? This month, He will make a way for you, He will do beyond your expectations in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
We desire to hear your testimonies and feedback. Kindly share with your love once also. The Lord bless you all in Jesus Precious name, Amen. Have a fruitful weekend ahead.

TOPIC: GOD OF DIVERSE WAYS 6:  The God That Calls Men

Memory Verse: Is. 43:15-16
“15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King.”
16 Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea And a path through the mighty waters.”

Bible Reading: Romans 8:30
“30  Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”
Diverse way working God calls men into His service. He searches for who will serve in different capacity. He calls men in different ways. He called some into ministry assignment- Fivefold Ministry, some to the works of business. He called some to singing ministry, some into ‘help’ ministry and many more. God doesn’t call Christians to be just pulpit pastor, rural area pastor or  Church planting alone. Many are called by God to win soul through their gifts, kind acts and many more.
He called Abraham to leave his native land to foreign land, and all generation are traceable to Abraham  but he wasn’t called as a pastor.
He called Moses to lead the Israelite out of Egypt and He was successful in His calling. The Exodus can’t be complete without Moses’ name.
Joshua was also called, He was chosen because of his commitment to Moses and he led the Children of Israel to the promise land.
Samson was called to be a prophet from the womb unlike any of the leaders  mentioned earlier. He wasn’t a pastor nor an Evangelist but He fulfilled the calling of God upon His life regardless of his fall.
David was also called by God through his service to his father and the use of his gift. He served his father faithfully by taking care of the sheep, then he took advantage of the time to build on his talent. These two qualities attracted him to God, thereby, he was called by God.
He called Jeremiah to be a prophet right from the womb. He called Elisha, a successful man in his calling as a business man to take over as a prophetic ministry from Elijah.
Nehemiah received the call of God through his passion for the city of God. He was successful in his calling also.
Job was called to be wealthy, a man whose influence cut across the east. He was found righteous despite not being a Pastor or Reverend.
Every soul has the calling of God upon them. The calling  may differ from one another. He calls us into the same ministry of winning soul but with different area and specialty. Not being a pastor doesn’t mean you are not called. Not preaching, going for morning cry, or standing by the pulpit is not a prove that you are not called. God doesn’t call audible like the past, He put a burden In your heart to long for like Nehemiah. He calls through that gift that is special to you alone. God of diverse ways called everyone of us into different aspect of Christianity. Have you discovered yours? Locate it and fulfill your calling.

TOPIC: GOD OF DIVERSE WAYS 5: Mighty Man In Battle

Memory Verse: Is. 43:15-16
“15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King.”
16 Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea And a path through the mighty waters.”

Bible Reading: Ps 24:7-8
“7 Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!  And the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty,
The LORD mighty in battle.”
God of diverse ways is the  Man of War, Mighty Man in Battle. He has never failed for once because no one can face Him in war. He is Superior  to all. He specializes in vengeance for His children. No one ever fought against His children and prevailed because He is the Mighty man in battle. He fight in diverse ways also. He stands in for His children when their enemies try to take advantage of them. Let us check how He has showed Himself as a Mighty man on behalf of His children.
He fought the Amalekites for the Israelite. In Exo. 17:8-13, the Lord use Moses’s hand to defeat their enemies. Aaron and Hur lifted the hand of Moses up while Joshua was using His sword and they defeated the Amalekites.
In Joshua 6:20-21, the Israelite fell the wall of Jericho through a great shout, and God perfected the battle for His Children. The wall fell down flat and the Israelite defeated the Jericho citizen.
In 2 Chronicles 20, the people of Judah face three different countries who came against them in battle, and they sang songs of Praise till their enemies destroyed one another with their weapon.
God will fight for you but according to the way He had predestined it. He fights in a way that will glorify Him. He will do it in a way you won’t be able to understand than to give Him the glory. He has the greatest strategies. He is fighting your battle to victory. Just let Him handle it, He is the God of vengeance, He will stand and win the war for you in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

TOPIC: GOD OF DIVERSE WAYS 4: My Healer – Jehovah Rapha

Memory Verse: Is. 43:15-16
“15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King.”
16 Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea And a path through the mighty waters.”

Bible Reading: Jeremiah 17:14
“14 Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed;  Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise.”
Diverse ways healing God heals everyone who believes and follows His ways. He uses His healing, sometimes, to win souls to Himself. His healing also come in different ways, built in faith, has His blessings comes through many many ways. Every knowledge comes through God the Jehovah Rapha.
When King Hezekiah was sick and close to death, God sent Isaiah back to him to apply a “lumb of figs” to the boil for healing, that is herbs treatment,
2 Kings 20:7,
“7 Then Isaiah said, “Take a lump of figs.” So they  took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered. “
When Moses was to heal the bitter water, God instructed him to drop a tree in the water,
Exo. 15:25, “So he cried out to the LORD, and  the LORD showed him a tree. When he cast it  into the waters, the waters were made sweet. …” That is God still using herbs for treatment.
Prophet Elisha healed a barren land and bad water with salt, 2 Kings 2:20-22. The same Elisha healed Naaman through river of Jordan, that’s healing through water.
During the dispensation of Jesus, He healed in many ways, through spoken words, Lk. 17:12-16, through laying on of hands Matt. 8:1-3, Lk. 7:11-15. God has many ways to healing.
Many felt it’s a sin to take drugs for healing, God can work through any means to attend to His children’s healing. When your faith holds on to God, He can heal you through His word, through His touch, through His servant, through drugs and through science. IVF shouldn’t have been able to produce children if God doesn’t heal barrenness through it. Tablets, capsules, injection and many other herbal drinks shouldn’t have been able to cure any sickness. God heals in many ways depending on how He decide to heal you.
He won’t heal you the way He healed others, No, your sickness may be the same but He will attend to you in a different way to gain Glory to Himself. Stop sitting on your sick  position, seek for advice to receive your healing. Atimes, herbals cure diabetes, ulcer and other sicknesses faster than drugs in the hospital. I pray you receive wisdom this morning in Jesus Mighty name for your healing, Amen.
