TOPIC: WHAT IS GOD’S WORD

Memory Verse: Math. 8:8
The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only SPEAK A WORD, and my servant will be  healed.

Bible Reading: Isaiah 37:3-5
3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can  these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.” 4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these  bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter  into you, and you shall live.
GOD’S WORDS ARE PROPHESY
Every word of God has a future destination. His words are not a waste, they talk about what God is capable of doing and what He is willing to do. Whatever word you’ve heard from God they are real and will always come to pass. God’s Word are to be fulfilled  not just for hearing sake.
The centurion said to Jesus, just say a word, meaning prophesy, and my servant will be well. God doesn’t need to get to where you are, if His word is directed to you, it will locate you and do what God’s presence will do. His words are final say and no two ways about it because they are meant to come to pass.
He ask Hezekiah, can this bone raise again?
“4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!
When you put your faith in God and make decrees, the word of God in your month becomes a prophesy. God said,
“28 Say to  them, ‘As I live,’ says the LORD, ‘just as you have spoken  in My hearing, so I will do to you:” Numb. 14:28.
Meaning, as you have prophesy so will I do to you.
What are you saying to your spouse and children; about your home, your work, your health, your gift, what have you been saying to the hearing of God? You are only building your future with your mouth. God’s word in your mouth creates your now and future.
Father, I believe in your words, that they are prophesy, I speak your word to my life today, my life is freed from every negative utterance against my life, I prophecy upon my business, family and ministry, they shall be as a tree planted by the river side in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Enjoy your weekend as you prophesy upon your life.

TOPIC: WHAT IS GOD’S WORD

Memory verse: Jeremiah 23:29
“29 “Is not My word like a fire?” says the LORD, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?”

Bible Reading: 2 Tim. 3:16-17
“16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for  correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17  that the man of God may be complete,  thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
GOD’S WORD IS THE BIBLE – THE SCRIPTURE
God’s word is always available daily. The word came as life to become the Son of God. The word also comes as a spoken word, Rhema – audible voice and written word – Logos. The Bible is the Logos, the written word of God, documented word of God. The mind and voice of God is filled in the pages of the Bible. Joshua 1:8, says,
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
God’s word is right beside you, very close, but most time we rush to prophet to receive God’s word. As long as you have the Bible, the Scripture with you, you have God’s word with you. The scripture is the breath of God, the mind of God, the intention of God, His will for everyone who will be willing to listen to God.
Do you need a word from God? Read through the scriptures. Do you wish to know the way to go about your life? Get the Bible, meditate therein day and night and you will hear the Lord clearer than you desire.
Father, help us to meditate on your word day and night In order to know your will for our lives, In Jesus Mighty Name we pray, Amen.

TOPIC: WHAT IS GOD’S WORD

Memory verse: Jeremiah 23:29
“29 “Is not My word like a fire?” says the LORD, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?”

Bible Reading: John 1:14
“14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the  only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
GOD’S WORD IS JESUS CHRIST
God’s word is Jesus Christ. Jesus is the second person of Trinity. In creation, Jesus was involved. He is the word that accomplish the mind and intentions of God. The word was wrapped in flesh to become the Son of Man. He was the personality of God here on earth.
The word of God is the reason behind the Name Jesus which is above every other names. The name carries the backing of the word. We pray In the name because He is the word of God. We pray in the name because His is God, and remember, God is the Word and His Son, Jesus is the Word.
How are you using the Word Jesus? Without the name or the word no access to God’s kingdom because through the word everything will be made possible. Every healing of Jesus was backed by the word which is a prove of who He is.
Ps. 107:20,
“He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.”
Jesus brings healing, deliverance, salvation and life to everyone who accept and believe in him. He is the word of God.
Word of life, refresh my life in Jesus Mighty Name.

TOPIC: WHAT IS GOD’S WORD

Memory verse: Jeremiah 23:29
“29 “Is not My word like a fire?” says the LORD, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?”

Bible Reading: John 1:1
“1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
GOD’S WORD IS GOD
We shall be digging the scripture to see what the Word of God is. Why is the word so powerful and what it can do in and for us.
God’s word is God. God’s word carries the efficacy of God’s personality. What God will do is what His word will do. Wherever the word of God is present God is present. Likewise, when we speak, we are speaking God because the word is God. Every word spoken is God, as every human is god (Ps. 62:6). What you say at every point in time is God. You shall declare a thing, (it’s not in the declaration but in the word which is God), and it shall be establish, (Job 22:28), the power of the word of God.
God said, let there be and there was (Gene. 1:3). So, we are suppose to decree and it’s establish. Our words are suppose to be God and creating things but it’s not so, Why? The power that backed God, His Word, is not present in us. The ability to establish with our words is lacking in us. Every word we speak is suppose to come to pass as a child of God, but reverse is the case.
Father, help me know the value of your word and understand the efficacy of it thereof In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

TOPIC: STUDY ON 2 KINGS 4

Memory verse: 2 Tim. 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Bible Reading: 2 kings 4:7
7 Then she came and  told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest”.
LESSON 10
CONTINUOUS INSTRUCTIONS BIRTH CONTINUOUS ACHIEVEMENT
Many home started with God. Men and women went around searching for God’s will for their marriages, “Mr and Mrs Right” but after getting it none retuned back to God for further instructions on how to live together. Likewise, in businesses, He gives us the idea then, we bid Him good bye, and these leads to premature successes in our businesses, I pray we will get it right in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
God gave her the instruction to fill the pots with oil and it was so, still, she went back to the Man of God for the complete Instruction. The next instruction to her was a blessing and a command not an Instruction any more,
“Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest”.
But now, we are wiser than God who started the instructions. We know what to do next, so we turn our back on Him till things fall apart again, I pray today, every areas of our life that we’ve taken steps ahead of God, His mercy will speak for us in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
This week, seek God’s instructions before taking any step. It shall be well with you.

TOPIC: STUDY ON 2 KINGS 4

Memory verse: 2 Tim. 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Bible Reading: 2 kings 4:5-7.
“5 So she went from him and shut the door  behind her and her sons, who brought the  vessels to her; and she poured it out. 6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased.”
LESSON 9
TOTAL OBEDIENCE: GOD’S DESIRE
Yesterday, we studied how instruction was given out, what the instructions sounds like and the possibility of the instructions. How did the woman responded? Total obedience, I mean, full obedience to the instruction that looks reproaching. She followed the instruction without sidelining any of it. She went home, borrowed pots, locked the door against herself and began to fill the pots with the oil, complete faith. Halleluyah!
King Saul was unable to do that. He felt obedience can be partial as many believers believed today. He saw what was good to the eyes, he neglected the instruction and the credibility of the giver. That ended his reign in Israel. The widow finished all the instruction and a jar of oil became pots of oil, How? Total Obedience.
Many of us had the opportunity to a life changing instructions but how obedient are we to those instruction? Many have the call of God upon their lives, yes, they answered but manouvering the instruction of the caller along the line. Yes, many marriages were founded on God’s instruction but were wrongly built with disobedience. Some disobeyed  God’s Instruction and called it wisdom (earthly wisdom) no, it’s disobedience.
1 Sam. 15:22, says,
“So Samuel said:  “Has the LORD has great delight in burnt  offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.”
Total Obedience gladdens the heart of God. How obedient are you? Total or partial obedience?
Father, help me carry out your instructions regardless of the situation surrounding me in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

TOPIC: STUDY ON 2 KINGS 4

Memory verse: 2 Tim. 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Bible Reading: 2 kings 4:3-4
3 Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from  everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. 4 And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind  you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.”
LESSON 8
INSTRUCTION: INSTRUMENT TO GREATNESS
For every candidate of an examination, instructions are paramount to the success of the exams. If you won’t follow due instructions you won’t get the best of result.. Instructions are vital tools to success in any endeavor. Instructions from God, God’s servant, your parent, mentor, spouse, master, even your colleagues and professionals can be the open door you need in life. Sometimes, experience has nothing to do with given instructions.
John 2:7-9, says,
“7 Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots  with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and  take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it. 9 When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had  drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom.”
The disciples would have let Jesus know that, the pots were meant for wine not water and they needed wine not water. But if that was the case, the intended miracle of Jesus would have been truncated, wine wouldn’t have been possible.
Let’s reason together, a woman came to you because of debt and you told her to go and borrow again? Wisdom will speak that, “am in a mess you are still telling me to increase the mess?” She can reply, “sir, nobody will borrow me since they all knew  am owing someone”. But in her case, that wasn’t her response. How ready are you for instructions? How prepared are you to carry out given instructions? Situation might be against the instructions. The instruction might look impossible but the credibility of the giver of the instruction is what matters. Many has fallen victim by not listening to instructions, I pray with you this morning, may you recover all your losses in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Father I need the right instruction from you Oh Lord, speak to me in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

TOPIC: STUDY ON 2 KINGS 4

Memory verse: 2 Tim. 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Bible Reading: 2 kings 4:2
“2 So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the  house but a jar of oil.”
LESSON 7
THAT LITTLE GIFT
“And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.”
No child is born big physically. No tree starts big. Everything begins small. Stop looking at what you have as small. Stop looking down on your ability, you just need to grow it. Nothing is small, until you appreciate what you have, you might not know the worth. Many of us believed we are created inferior compare to others but that’s not the truth. Other people only appreciate what they have and made use of it.
That jar of oil is not useless, it is your tool to the top. Identify it and utilize it. What do you know how to do? What are you good at? What’s the difference between you and others? What do other love about you? What makes you special? That’s a pointer to your Jar of oil. That’s what God has designed to change your life with. Locate it. Search it out and start functioning with it. The widow didn’t realise she has what will end her reproach until the Man of God pointed to it.
Father, Open us up to ourselves to search and make use of our uniqueness in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Do have a wonderful week in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Bible Reading: 2 kings 4:2
“2 So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the  house but a jar of oil.”
LESSON 6
GOD ONLY BLESSES WHAT YOU HAVE
“So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?”
God is not a waster. He is a multiplier. He blesses something not just nothing because no body is empty. That’s why God said,
“25 “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.” Ex. 23:25.
He needs Your Bread before He blesses it. He need Your Water before He multiplies it. So, until you identify what you have you might not move forward in life. What you have is what God will bless to move you forward.
The question now is, What do you have that God can bless? What can God multiply in your hands? So, you need to identify what God has placed in your hands to work with, is it a talent, gift, resource, services or help ministry? Identify what you have for God’s lifting.
Lord, open our eyes to see what you’ve given us to profit with in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Do have a wonderful week in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

TOPIC: STUDY ON 2 KINGS 4

Memory verse: 2 Tim. 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Bible Reading: 2 kings 4:1
“1 A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the LORD. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves”.
LESSON 5
WHO DO YOU CRY TO?
“A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying,”
Today, we will be considering where and who we run to in times of help. Who comes to your mind is a product of where you’ve sown your seeds. As a farmer, who will never go to others farm land when it’s harvest time, that is how it should be for every believer in time of challenges. The question is, do you have who to cry to? Do you have a good record with anyone who can be of help in times of trouble? Have you sown seeds that can yield harvest in harvest time? Even God will not harken to people who turned their back on Him after He blesses them.
The widow went to the man whom they’ve sown their seeds into His ministry. A man they’ve served before the death of her husband. And because of their services the Man of God couldn’t turned her down. God instructed him on how to meet the woman’s need.
Can God intervene when you are in need or faced with reproach? Can you speak to God and He will answer you? Yours might be your neighbour, coworker, family, friends, servant of God, church members or your in-laws, who can you cry out to for help? The first person to run to is God whom you most have served and walked with diligently. Prophet Elisha stands as God in the case of this widow. If you can’t find anyone to cry to, please change your attitude. Change your way of life. Begin to affect lives positively ahead of the days of challenges because challenges will surely come but to over come depends on how you’ve sown your seeds.
Do have a wonderful week in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
