TOPIC: GIVE HIM THANKS

Memory verse: 1 These. 5:18
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Ps.103:5
“5 Who satisfies your mouth with good  things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
THANK HIM FOR PROVISION
Is there anyone who can be specific about how much he/she has spent this year? How the resources came to be? Was it all your effort or more than your effort? Eating once in a day with the situation of the nation deserve giving God the thanks. The Lord kept satisfying our mouth with foods that renew our strength. He made provision beyond our expectation. Many has but couldn’t eat. Many have more than enough but it’s meaningless to them at this point in time. The provider made all your need available at every time, Glory belong to Him alone.
Ps. 34:10 says,
“10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.”
Has God denied you good things? Many things you see afar as good things are not what you think, they are deceitful. Appreciate God today for daily meal since the beginning of the year, it worth giving Him thanks. Good things will He never withhold from His children as long as the Heaven and Earth exist.
Father, thank you for daily bread, requested and unrequested for, you are the brain behind it all. Thank you for seeing us through again, in Jesus Mighty Name we have given thanks, Amen.
Happy New Month To You All.

TOPIC: GIVE HIM THANKS

Memory verse: 1 These. 5:18
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Ps. 91:7-11
“7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, 10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; 11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.”
HE WATCHES OVER US
Ps. 127:1
“1 Unless the LORD builds the house,  They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city,  The watchman stays awake in vain.”
The greatest watchman is Our Lord Jesus Christ. He watches over billions of billions of soul at once. The scripture says, “His eyes runs to and fro”. He sees everywhere at every time. Guide us all from every forms of evil.
He said, thousands may fall around us but we will only see with our eyes, it won’t be our portion, for He, God, is the watch over us who never sleep nor slumber. Unless He watches over us, our vigilantes are just making fortunes from us. They go to sleep when you go to sleep. it has been the Lord who did the watch of every night, let us give Him the praise.
Father, we recognise you as our watch every night. We can’t pay your salary nor compensate you but we’ve come to show our appreciations by saying, Thank You Jesus, May your wonderful name be praise in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Do Have A Lovely Day Ahead.

TOPIC: GIVE HIM THANKS

Memory verse: 1 These. 5:18
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Ps. 124:6-7
“6 Blessed be the LORD, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth. 7 Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped.”
WE HAVE ESCAPED
If it has not been the Lord, who has been watching over us, only God knows where we would have been. Faithful God kept proofing Himself faithful In our lives. When we go to bed at night as an infant, our enemies are up and working against us. They are skimming and militating but Our God, who loved us so much, fought to keep us safe till the dawn of a new day, Halleluyah.
Many times we’ve escaped the traps of the devil all by His grace without our knowledge. King David said, “Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped.” Since Last year, the pandemic consumed many lives, but ours wasn’t one of them, we escaped. This year, killings here and there in the nation Nigeria: bandit, herdsmen, boko haram, accident and other forms of death, but we escaped it all. When you think deep you can thank deeper.
Stop thinking of what is not available and thank Him for what is enough for you.
Father, Thank you for all you’ve been doing, how you rescued us from all forms of evil till the first quarter of the year, we are grateful for all, and in Jesus Mighty Name we give thanks, Amen.
Do Have A Lovely Week Ahead.

TOPIC: GIVE HIM THANKS

Memory verse: 1 These. 5:18
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Ps. 136:10-12
10 To Him who struck Egypt in their firstborn, For His mercy endures forever; 11 And brought out Israel from among them,  For His mercy  endures forever; 12 With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, For His mercy endures forever;”
APPRECIATE GOD
Every situation has a lesson to teach us. Every happening is an experience. Many times God does some things to show us how great He is and how He rules without consultations. Yesterday, I said, when good things happen to someone the opposite may be someone else experience somewhere. Some of the evil we experience are caused by us. Our attitude towards God determines the occurrences around us but in all, as long as we are alive, we need  to still give Him all the thanks.
Pharaoh and the Egyptians all lost their first born sons when they refuse to let the Israelite leave the land of Egypt. Still the scripture says, “for His mercy endures forever.” The mercies of God endures even in challenging times. Regardless of what the devil is doing now, the mercies of God still stands. So, in all things, God deserve to be praise come what may, because God’s mercy doesn’t stop when things are bad, it still endures always.
He knows all things before we speaks. He sees what we are going through, and He wants us to see Him in the face of those challenges as the merciful God and give Him His place and His Praise, for His mercies endures even in the darkest night.
Do Have A Lovely Week Ahead.

TOPIC: GIVE HIM THANKS

Memory verse: 1 These. 5:18
“18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Bible Reading: Ps. 136:1
1 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy  endures forever.”
BE THANKFUL
“God is Good”, to many this is a slang in Christiandom but to few, it’s a confession. Where do you belong? Many says it because others says it. Some say it to let people think they are genuine Christians but very few Christians confess and believe it.
The scripture says,
6 Whatever the LORD pleases He does, in heaven and in earth,  In the seas and in all deep places.” Ps. 135:6
He does what he desire and no one can call His acts to question. Hello, when you are smiling and happy for what the Lord did for you, it’s at the detriment of someone. So when all things are not going well for someone, it’s working for someone else’s good. God is Good in all situation. Things don’t need to be good before you confess and believe that He is Good, you just have to thank Him for He is a good God.
Believing and confessing that the Lord is Good is a sign of gratitude to God. Until you believe He is good you might not enjoy His goodness. You’re not suppose to be grateful to God because He has done you Good but because that is His will for all mankind.
How thankful are you to God? Crossing over to a new month this week worth you giving God the praise. He has been Good to us all, let us thank Him this week, for God is good and His mercy endures forever.

TOPIC: INGREDIENT FOR UNITY

Memory verse: Ps. 133:1
“1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!”

Bible Reading: 2 Corinth. 2:10-11
10 Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ, 11 lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.”
FORGIVENESS
Forgiveness delivers peace.
Unforgiveness is the reason for almost 95% of wicked acts and deeds in the world today. Wherever Unforgiveness reigns unity can never have it’s way. Until unforgiveness is overcome and over throned, unity can’t be the order of the day.
The devil capitalizes on our unforgiveness that was why Apostle Paul said, we should not be ignorant of the devices of the devil. Wherever unforgiveness set in, the devil steps in with evil thought till it becomes evil action, I pray with you today, the devil will not take advantage of you in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Read what Jesus said to Peter,
“21 Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”  22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.” Math. 18:21-22.
Meaning, forgiveness shouldn’t be countable. How many people you forgave and how many times you’ve forgiven  shouldn’t be numbered. Forgiveness should be a way of life.  Forgive everyone around you and live in unity today. May God give us the grace to forgive others in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Have a great day ahead.

TOPIC: INGREDIENT FOR UNITY

Memory verse: Ps. 133:1
“1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!”

Bible Reading: Eph. 5:21
“21 Submitting to one another in the fear of God.”
SUBMISSION INCREASES UNITY
Submission is one of the virtue that increases unity. Any relationship that lacks submission, either marriage, business, ministry or friendship can’t be sustain. Talking about submission, we always believe only the subordinate are to submit to the superiors, but it’s goes beyond that. Jesus speaking said,
“25 But Jesus called  them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. 26 Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. 27 And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave— 28  just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Math. 20:25-28.
Being a leader, superiors or the boss doesn’t stop you from submission. You are called to serve and not to be served. You’re to be submissive to those who elected you, this was what Jesus was saying.
What is Submission? “It’s an act to yield or give way to another.” It’s not just from the lower to the upper hierarchy, but lower to the upper and upper to the lower hierarchy.
How submissive are you? Your position, wealth, age, power and anointing shouldn’t replace submission In your life. That’s why they keep complaining about you In that team, that marriage, in that group and that department. You only like to lord it over everyone, no submissiveness, so, unity can’t be achieve in that area of yours. I want us to search ourselves out today, am I the hindrance to the unity of my church, work place, business or marriage? Be submissive and you will walk in unity.
Have a great day ahead.

TOPIC:INGREDIENT FOR UNITY

Memory verse: Ps. 133:1
“1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!”

Bible Reading: Rom. 13:8-10.
“8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments,  “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,”  “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false  witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if  there is any other commandment, are  all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your  neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.”
LOVE IGNITE UNITY
As we all know, love can make you go the extra mile. Love have no reasons to hurt or neglect in times of challenges. In a place where unity will reign love is an important ingredient. Love doesn’t segregate, it always motivate, so, anywhere unity reigns love is one of the foundation.
Apostle Paul, speaking with the Romans, said, love is the most important debt to be paid by all. It’s not just a family thing but a general thing. He said, it is the fulfilment of the law. This is what we are lacking in our generation today. When you see others with good and Godly idea, show them love not envy. Build all relationship base on unity with love not with eye service. Within Christians, love has become a scarce commodity, even in families and the result of this is clearly seen in the nation at large. When love is lacking, unity can’t be achieve. Love ignite unity, it bonds people together to forge ahead. Love seeks for team success not individual success.
The way forward to building a reliable relationship around us is by loving one another regardless of our differences.
I want to use this opportunity to appreciate everyone who took out time to celebrate my birthday with me yesterday, through your prayers, text, chat, calls and gifts, I say a “Big Thank You” to you all. Thanks for the love, I pray you’ll reap in love in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Thanks Again.

TOPIC: INGREDIENT FOR UNITY

Memory verse: Ps. 133:1
“1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!”

Bible Reading: Gen. 11:1
“1 Now the whole earth had one language and one speech.”
One Language: Key to Unity
Everywhere people lived with one language there will always be unity. What is this one language? Am talking about understanding. Where understanding is lacking, agreement can’t be reached, and unity can’t be possible. One language was the problem of the 12 spies sent by Moses. The 10 spies lack the understanding that Joshua and Caleb had, so their language was different from theirs.
When God want to stop the unity at the towel of babel, He tampered with their language,
“6  And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. 7 Come, let Us  go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.”
Likewise, when the devil want to cause any confusion, he tamper with the language, i.e the understanding of  people involved. When you don’t understand yourselves you can’t be united. Every marriage that lack this language can’t be united, same also with any carrier in life.
Until God gave them different language everything was working fine. How understandable are you in life? Do you want to walk in unity? Understand one another. Always see from other’s perspective, as you are not an island.
Have a fruitful Day ahead.

TOPIC: INGREDIENT FOR UNITY

Memory verse: Ps. 133:1
“1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!”

Bible Reading: Amos 3:3.
“3 Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?”
AGREEMENT BIRTH UNITY
Unity is a very scares virtue in the world right now. Every home, work place, church, community and nations are going through the lack of unity in one area or the other. What unity can’t achieve, nothing can establish it.
Today, we will be focusing on Agreement. The foundation of any form of unity is agreement. Every marriage start with agreement. Every business start with agreement. In fact, Christianity is all about agreement that, the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost are one. Nothing can be achieved without agreement. Where there is disagreement their can’t be unity. Now, agreement is not built on satisfying the two side, No, most agreement is all about “Letting Peace Reign”.
The first principle to that unity you want in that area of your marriage is to agree with one another, having a meeting point. Two wrongs can’t make a right. A man of unity will always strike a balance in all he does.
Prophet Amos said, “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” The answer is No, two can’t be one without an agreement. The reason for broken home is the lack of agreement, because everybody want to have a say and a response to every situation.
If you will move forward in life, try to walk in agreement in order to live in unity. Unity builds, while disunity destroy.
Have a fruitful weekend ahead.
