Topic: LESSONS FROM HANNAH’S LIFE

Memory Verse: Heb. 13:8
“8 Jesus Christ is the  same yesterday, today, and forever.”

Bible Reading: 1 Sam. 1: 1-3
“1 Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim Zophim, of the mountains of Ephraim, and his  name was Elkanah the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephraimite. 2 And he had two wives: the name of  one was Hannah, and the name of the other  Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children. 3 This man went up from his city yearly to worship and sacrifice to the LORD  of hosts in Shiloh. Also the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.”
SERVING GOD ISN’T AN IMMUNE TO CHALLENGE.
The Lord our God is the same in all situations. He changes not, come what may. He can never change His mind because of our situations. Serving God, seeking God and worshipping Him is not a guaranty to a free-challenge life, No. But it’s always a path way out of all forms of difficulties for genuine Christians.
From the story of Hannah, we were made to know, that, her husband, Elkanah, was a Godly man, who observe yearly Shiloh in his days. His way of life shouldn’t have attracted childlessness to his lovely wife, Hannah. They were suppose to be in the position to tell God, “we don’t need children again” but reverse was the case. That you are fervent in God’s house doesn’t make you immune to challenges.
I want you to know that, the God of the Mountain is still the God in the valley. The God in surplus is still the God of scarcity. Hannah never quitted during her time of loneliness despite the mockery. Challenges are real and free for everyone but serving and seeking God brings genuine victory over them all.
I pray with you this morning, those challenges that seems endless will come to an end in Jesus Mighty Name. God is with you, He changes not.
Have A Great Day Ahead.

Topic: Attracting God’s Visitation

Memory Verse: Is. 55:6
6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

Bible Reading: Math. 5:7
“7 Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.”
BE MERCIFUL
Romans 9:15
“15 For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have Compassion.”
To some, God is sounding partial with the Bible verse above. Many believe God has his favorite to lift, help and blessed but that’s not the case. God is not selective. He sent His son to die for the sins of the world not the selected one, but you have a role to play in order to attract His benefit into your life. Saying God is partial is like sowing a grain of maize and expecting beans from it, that is not possible.
When you are merciful to others you are attracting the mercy of God upon yourself. You being merciful makes God select you, choose you and grant you His attention.  When you show mercy to everyone you can, God is qualifying you for His mercy, and when He shows you His mercy, you’ve succeeded in attracting Him to yourself. How merciful are you?
You don’t just sit down and expect God’s mercy, you attract Him by also showing mercy to others. Be merciful and you will attract God’s attention to yourself.
Have A Great Day Ahead.

Topic: Attracting God’s Visitation

Memory Verse: Is. 55:6
6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

Bible Reading: Luke 16:10-12
10 He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. 11 Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? 12 And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?
Faithfulness To God
In Christiandom, when we mention faithfulness many tends to believe we are talking about faithfulness to God, no, that’s not what today’s topic is all about. Faithfulness to God is faithfulness to all. Faithfulness in how we handle things and to men, whom we can see and walk with.
When you are faithful in the little God commits to your hands, you are inviting him to commit more to you. Faithfulness start with you doing the right thing at the right time. Faithfulness in how you handle the things of God, how you manage people around you. How you treat your spouse, your co-workers, your parent and in money issue, this is where faithfulness in needed.
When you are faithful in that little thing in your hand you are drawing the attention of God to make it bigger. He is still looking for who to commit assignment to, so, with you being faithful you can attract Him to your self. But when you handle what’s in your hand with Levity hands, you are only sending Him away from yourself. Add faithfulness to all you do, be committed the more and you will see Him attending to you like never before.

Topic: Attracting God’s Visitation
Memory Verse: Is. 55:6
6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
Bible Reading: Heb. 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Your Faith, Your Invite
Many Christians prayed and fasted without faith. Many serve God without Faith. Many even scatter their seeds without faith. All these activities can’t please God without a genuine Faith attached to it.
What is faith? The acronym ‘Faith’ simply means “Father, Am In Thy Hands.” It also means, believing that what you prayed for has been granted while still expecting. Faith means, don’t doubt your prayers till it comes true.  It means, keep following God till your request are granted. You don’t speak In faith and act contrary to what you speak. You don’t sow your seed with faith and still complain thereafter, it’s signifies that your faith has been tampered with.
Christian thinks, faith is, pray it now and have it now, not in all situations. There are times that God needs to test us before releasing our request. There are times when what we are asking is not useful for us yet. And there are times when our request is overdue, so, God releases the request faster than the others but in all, Faith is the key to get it done.
Another thing to note about faith is this, many prayed, fasted and have the faith but never take any step about what they are praying for. Faith still involves what you can do. When God told Abraham that his wife will be with a child in 9 months time, do you think Abraham will not meet with his wife before she became pregnant? He most do his part even after God said it.
Search out what you need to do concerning that invite you are sending to God. God respect our faith as Jesus do. Faith it wholeheartedly to enjoy the manifestation.
Have A Great Day Ahead.

TOPIC: ATTRACTING GOD’S VISITATION

Memory Verse: Is. 55:6
6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

Bible Reading: Ex. 23:25
25 “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
SERVICE: THE FASTEST WAY
There’s difference between serving God and seeking God. Zacchaeus wasn’t serving God when He went to the tree top but he was seeking God. Trying to know Jesus despite being a rich man. Service entails you putting your hands to work for God, worshipping Him as your Lord and saviour. To serve is to put Him above your desires. Serving God also means being a burden lifter for God’s servant and God’s people. To serve God is to make God your all in all.
Seeking God is personal while serving God is through other people. There are different levels of serving God, To be in a department in church is service to God. To finance missionary or church project is service. To be of help to church members and less privilege is also service to God. Taking care of Men of God is also part of service to God. No one should be idle when it comes to serving God. We all have the ability according to our callings.
When you serve God faithfully, it’s a great invite to God. Increase your service to God and in a short while He will visit you.
Have a Great Day

TOPIC: ATTRACTING GOD’S VISITATION

Memory Verse: Is. 55:6
6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

Bible Reading: Lk.1:26-30
26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” 29 But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. 30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.

LIVING A RIGHTEOUS LIFE
God is searching for a vessel He can use and fill, a vessel that will send Him an invite through his/her Holy Lifestyle, are you available?
Mary, the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, invited God’s favour into her life through her righteous living. The promise of God to a virgin wasn’t attached to Mary from on set. Mary was a vessel in the hand of God who has not defy her youthfulness but walk faithfully with God all the way.
Living a Holy life qualifies you for God’s automatic visitation. The holy life of Job was the reason why God allow the devil to tempt him and Job proofed God right.
Beloved of God, How are you living you life, Holy or unholy? Righteously or unrighteous? The way we live our lives either attract God or repel Him from us.
Heb. 12:14, “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord”
God needs your invite through a Holy life. Separate yourself for Him.

ATTRACTING GOD’S VISITATION

Memory Verse: Is. 55:6

6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

Bible Reading: Luke 19:1-6
1. Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. 2 Now behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. 3 And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. 4 So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. 5 And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” 6 So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully.
GO THE EXTRA MILE
Hannah needed a child to put an end to her childlessness, then she went the extra mile by making a vow, 1 Sam. 1:8-18.
Jacob needed to be saved from his brother Esau, he also went the extra mile by wrestling with an Angel, Gen. 32:22-29.
Jabez needed a change in his life, so, he went the extra mile in prayer, 1 Chronic. 4:9-10.
Solomon also invited God through his Sacrifice, 1 Kings 3:3-5.
Zacchaeus needed to see Jesus Christ of Nazareth, he also went the extra mile by climbing the tree even before Jesus got to the area, and he did saw Jesus and was blessed.
What is that extra mile you need to go? Which step do you need to take? Start thinking of it. You need to send an invite to God before He comes in. Yours might be sacrificial, forgiveness, prayers and fasting, showing love to those who don’t deserve it, honouring your spouse, going back to God, even your parent, one way or the other, you need to do beyond the ordinary to get the extra ordinary from God.
Search out that special thing you need to do to invite Him into you situation. The extra mile brings the extraordinary into place.
Have a Great Day.

TOPIC: ATTRACTING GOD’S VISITATION

Memory Verse: Is. 55:6
“Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.”
Bible Reading: Mark 10:46-52
“46 Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48 Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 49 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.” 50 And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. 51 So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” 52 Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.”
CRY TO GOD IN FAITH
Bishop David Oyedepo made an illustration about a victim in an accident, saying, when you get to an accident scene, you attend to the crying victims first, who is asking for help before those that are not calling for help. This was the case of blind Bartimaeus with Jesus.
Many were walking with Jesus that same day with diverse of problems but couldn’t see it as an advantage to cry to Jesus. Many Christians attend all services in their church but still remain in their situations just like the same people following Jesus Christ to and fro. But the blind Bartimaeus’ case was totally different because he added faith with it. He did not just cried to God alone but with full faith, he knew Jesus could heal him. He never doubted Jesus’ capability of healing him, so, when he came to Jesus, He saw his faith and all He could say was, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.”
To attract God’s visitation we need to cry to God with faith knowing well that He is capable of attending to our case. We need to put aside every negative thoughts that can hinder His visitation. God’s visitation to our situations needs Faith plus our cry; prayers, fasting, vows, services to God, fellowshipping with him and many more.
Cry to Him for His visitation. Let your prayers be continuous and more frequent to Him not just in the church. Heaven will hear your cry today in Jesus might name.
Have a Great Day.

TOPIC: GOD IS AT WORK IN YOU

Memory Verse: John 5:17:
“But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”

Bible Reading: Romans 8:24-27
24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. 26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our  weaknesses. For we do not know what we  should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit  Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”
DON’T GIVE UP ON GOD
God, the Father, God, the Son and God, the Holy Spirit are working on our behalf. As long as we are believers of Jesus Christ, God is on our side. I like you to know that, The Holy Spirit is not left out of the work in us. The scriptures says,
“26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our  weaknesses. For we do not know what we  should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit  Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”
He is interceding on our behalf. Reminding God of our effort. Speaking to God of our endurance, patience and services in His Household. Don’t give up on God. He is working things out for you.
“24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.” You don’t walk with God for what you can see, touch or feel now, we walk with Him for those things that we hope for, which mean, we must walk with Him in perseverance, patiently and in obedience to His instruction. God hasn’t forgotten us. He is working it out for our good. Keep holding on Him. The scripture says, in Math. 24:13
“13 But he who endures to the end  shall be saved.”
It’s the end of everything that matters not the now. Don’t give up on God.
Prayer
Father, we believe you are working on our behalf. We believe in your greater plans for us. Regardless of our present challenges, we refuse to loose focus on you, we choose to take our stand with you. Oh Lord, enable us to wait till the end in Jesus Mighty Name. Thank you for your works in us and for us, in Jesus Mighty Name we pray, Amen.
Have a Great Day.

TOPIC: GOD IS AT WORK IN YOU

Memory Verse: John 5:17:
“But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”
Bible Reading: Is. 38:15-19.
15 “What shall I say?  He has both spoken to me, And He Himself has done it. I shall walk carefully all my years In the bitterness of my soul. 16 O Lord, by these  things men live; And in all these things is the life of my spirit; So You will restore me and make me live. 17 Indeed it was for my own peace That I had great bitterness; But You have lovingly  delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back. 18 For Sheol cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You;  Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your truth. 19 The living, the living man, he shall praise You,  As I do this day; The father shall make known Your truth to the children.”

IN ALL, BE GRATEFUL
Complain, grumbling and crying has been the order of the day for 85% of believers waiting on God. Many keep evaluating their lives with others. Some believed, God has forgotten them, so they’ve found no reason to appreciate being alive and healthy. Having children, getting a good job, finding the right man or woman, has made many see less of other things God is doing in them. May I tell you once again, God is handling your case presently.
The dead can’t have a dream anymore, no competition for them. Those that are dead have no idea of what they own when they were alive, they are gone. Why not learn to thank God for what you are enjoying for free? The breath in you, the perfect sight, the functioning body system, the will to be in a place and ability to eat what you want or see without any repercussion on your system? These are proves of, God working in you.
King Hezekiah said, “The living, the living man, he shall praise You, As I do this day;”
If you won’t praise God before your manifestation, you won’t appreciate the manifestation when it come. That you are reading these, this morning, is a sign that God is working in you. Why not celebrate Him this morning?
“Father, thank you for working in me till date. Though I might not be where I want to be, I know I am not where I use to be. Though I might not have what I desire but I have never lacked all I need to live. Thank you for this works in me. As a living soul, am here to say Thank you.”
Have a Great Day.
